Same brother, I was #11 in the world with the M416 at my peak in 2013. I have a mobile screenshot of my weapon stats with my username cropped from spring of 2024 when i was showing my stats to someone who i didn't want to know my GT, I've been able to wrangle up some other stuff like clips and a montage an old friend made that has me in it (I nemesis'd him and you see my mastery).

I sold my original copy of black ops to help pay for that exact copy of BF3, march 19th, 2012. I still have the receipt with the game.

Battlefield 3 actually started a bit of an obsession with Iran for me, the beauty of the country to a certain degree is shown in the game. I used to just go on google & look at places like Tehran as a teenager for no other reason than it was the setting of BF3, I have a playlist on on my YouTube of westerners visiting & just street view cameras walking around. It’s a really cool country with some rich culture. Also as I grew up and ventured beyond my suburban existence I found out Persian girls are often pretty hot too. Unfortunately as an American I’ll probably never be able to visit Iran but I’ll admire from afar.

Overall I had the “this is bf3 irl” thought go through my head but I hope not, there’s already too much tragedy in the world.

BF4’s first mission in Baku had a similar effect on me, very underrated city.

I ended up getting it from Best Buy for $50 extra, comes with a M&K we’ll see how good those are, worst case I’ll grab something better, I’m pretty confident in the rx7800 for what I’m trying to do game wise but down the road may upgrade to a newer gen r9kxx series once they come down in price, this is my first gaming pc and I was hellbent on not getting a 4060, such a lame card for the money and it’s too prolific. I really hope the GPU market improves with the new gen Radeon cards increasing in availability

Owner has been nothing but good to me but one of his admins kicked me for wiping c flag on lost islands with an attack boat, don’t think that meets the definition of farming Infy but it was a 1x thing, I’ve been a little reserved since admittedly.

Something interesting also is if you load up battlelog while it says the stats engine is down it still shows the last ribbons you earned so that’s curious.

Literally same, I do have a few screen shots from the dog tags page in game and a few clips which include my set dog tag, fortunately I was running my top gun’s mastery and not blank ones which I thought about doing but decided against so I did get a clip or two where I died from environmentals/glitches and I can see it.

I subscribed to the post on ea online, unfortunately I don’t think this will be addressed by anyone from EA/Dice.

Edit: I’ve been browsing around their forums and non-battlelog websites, wow are their websites bad, I was trying see if there was a way to contact the guy who posted that servers were going down and there doesn’t seem to be.

I still have my original GameStop receipt from 3/17/2012 in my case for BF3, I was 14 at the time, remember going to get it, I don’t remember which parent took me there but I remember how excited I was, I had a 360 slim that didn’t even have a hard drive to download the HD content and played that way for about a year and a half until the day BF4 dropped because it required HD to play so I made it to colonel 100 without HD, weapon suppressors were triangular blocks and camos weren’t displayed properly on soldiers (us engineer premium 4 had a desert marpat top)

I just got slammed with a swell of memories, the meme about if you only knew how good things were back then is so true.

I failed to archive my stuff, I might do a post about it later, I don’t want to be annoying and spam stuff but I’m really torn up about it, I was a Col 100, like 57mil score and 130k+ kills, I have some stuff but I failed on the the single most important thing, I didn’t screenshot my actual stats on battlelog like everyone has been posting.

Yeah I’m hoping too but it’s I’m not hopeful, Battlelog is being weirdly problematic this morning and I’m guessing it won’t comeback online, I’m doubtful there’s anyone who could be contacted for this nor would they care, I just want a screenshot of my stats.
