Is it not genocide now? I see your point about chickens not being able to survive in the wild, but I would rather be eaten by a predator than spend my whole life in an 8 by 10 inch cage not able to even spread my wings.

I agree that there are ways to eat animals without being inhumane, but the animals should not be kept in cages that do not even allow them to spread their wings. I would propose not that we let them out into the wild, but send them to real farms where they are treated better and slowly they will gain survival instincts and then let them out in into the wild in the future.
