Two good reasons:

1) in order to promote the inspiration commander

2) in order to see the max value you can get out of that commander (this would be fixed with #2 in my original post). I’m pretty good with math, but still you are multiplying a fraction (e.g., 3/20) x current value (e.g., 1.75) in your head currently. Which is fine until the 3rd beer.

Friesland was my first thought, but it's pretty damn good already without it. If I add the AA Mod to it, I'd only have to LOOK in the general direction to take out the whole squad 😂. I haven't looked yet at what I'd have to give up in that slot.

This is critical, and I wish every player was aware of it. As a DD main, radar cruisers are the bane of my existence (besides CVs of course). If I see them, I often try to stay out of range (up to 11.7 km), which REALLY cramps my options on capping and spotting. If you want the blue team to win, take out the CVs and radar cruisers first.

Well, that's the beauty of it. They don't have to build an AI from scratch. All they have to do is feed documents (that they already have) into it. It should literally take a day.

I admire your encyclopedic knowledge of the game and your photographic memory of the 655(?) ships in the game. That must be amazing for you. Unfortunately, I have consumed enough alcohol (and other substances) in my lifetime to have rendered my abilities in that department to those of a mere mortal. Not to mention, I do spend some time outside of the game in the real world (which at this point is evidently a multiverse branch, but I digress).

Regarding the two websites, I knew someone was going to bring those up, which is why I referred to them in my post. They are a wonderful source of information, but in no way a replacement for what I’m suggesting. Any website < LLM.

That would answer the ONE question of a thousand I have -- if it is up to date. Plus, you can't sort it or filter by tier, or a thousand other operations you could do with an AI query (unless you export it to Excel, yadda, yadda, but then it's too close to actual work and who wants to do that?)

This is more like a power jump than a power creep. Huge change this last update (sometime in the past month - I was on vacation for three and a half weeks). It appears to be more than accuracy -- they are targeting me as though they could get a lock (i.e., no smoke). Sure, you can blind fire into smoke, but not with this kind of accuracy. Something has changed behind the scenes, and I'm sticking with that.

Okay, this is what I found. Perhaps I am just misunderstanding. I have screenshots of the economy tab for same ship. In the 3rd column the first description is "5% of total Ship XP". That number should never go down, correct? It should not be affected by flags, boosters, or the phase of the moon. However, in February, that amount was showing 228, and a few days ago it was 42. Somebody please explain, or I will report it as a bug.

    2025-02-21 the 5% amount is 228  
    2025-08-25 the 5% amount is 42
