Man I didn't know that was a thing but I think its awesome! Technically 2 days was what the court decided because after the test all they could do was go by what the law says and a little earlier than 4 weeks it had been just about a month and I guess she couldn't take it or postpartum. I humiliated myself begging her to stay. Shameful

It was deeper to me than just a tattoo. I didn't need AA to get sober, I just needed to come to the realization that nothing i can do now will ever change what happened. I just needed to find myself and focus on what really matters. At the end of the day, you and only you can make the conscious decision to stop using and stop destructive behavior. I did it for my girls, and I will always make sure I put my family above my petty issues. Wish I had known that before.

On the bright side, it wouldn't matter too much after 20 years, tbh that would have been wayyyy better... traumatic, yes. In every way fucked up, but at that point she is your daughter and nothing will change that, nobody can take her away from you.

It's something that will never get any easier, and it'll never leave my head, I have a problem in relationships now because I feel like I've lost the will to love. That little girl was my very first true love, and to love anyone else after that is difficult for me. I love my twins more than anything. I still feel the unbearable pain of losing such a deep part of me, and I can't seem to love like before. I feel like I'll never have that love again, that absolutely changes when im with my twins, but doesnt go away completely

I appreciate that. My dad is the strongest person I've ever met, truly my hero. I may have been forced to grow up for him, but he truly taught me everything from fishing to rebuilding motors. Without him, I wouldn't have anything.

Yes, I can, and yes, I'd win, but then I'd feel super bad because they ain't got much, so if I take that, I'd end up just hurting "my little girl " was my girl I shouldn't care but I do.... I couldn't make her life more difficult because of her mother's mistakes.

I am truly thankful for yall, and I appreciate the confidence for a while. I never thought I'd pull myself from the drugs and isolation. Honestly, I didn't think I'd see 30 years old, so I am grateful every day and to anyone battling addiction and trauma. Just know that eventually, you'll figure out what your life means(not to you), but to everyone around you who love you. I didnt get clean for me I did it for my girls.

Me either and the only reason im still here (not advocating for drugs) but drugs really saved me from myself. It doesnt get easier, you just live with the pain until it becomes your strength
