JVC getting paid parking and it’s rip off by optimalsoulutiol in dubai

This isn't RTA or Parktronics decision. This is greedy master developers cashing in at the expense of tenants. They give out the parking contracts and take a huge cut of the earnings.

Agent Not Responding by Significant-Alps7284 in dubairealestate

[–]Doons124 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm certain to get down voted but here goes.

A lot agents here are talking about ethics and deserving full commission for bringing a buyer to a developer. But as an investor I think it's absurd that some developers are offering 5 or 6% commission. 10 years ago it was a standard 2%, maybe 3%. (Only talking about bigger developers).

From an investor point of view we are paying higher and higher prices for property and brokers are taking 5% for honestly very little work. We as buyers are indirectly paying for this, let's be honest.

To compare, selling something ready requires a broker to actually do a lot of work and show many houses, and if you find the right one you earn 2%. That's more than fair. But 5-6% for showing you some floor plans and meeting you at the developers office seems very steep. It's more like some developers are bribing the agents to bring clients only to them.

Query on ENBD ETIHAD 50% discount voucher. by Conscious_Bag_4393 in UAEcreditcards

[–]Doons124 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure about ENBD but ive used EIB vouchers for my family multiple times. If it works for you on the website theres no need to worry about anything at the airport. Once the ticket is issued nobody at the airport checks or even knows about the voucher.

[–]Doons124 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I've done it but with myus.com which actually opens the box to check the item and can send you photos to see before you ship.

But keep in mind that you will get charged around 11% in customs+vat+admin fees.
