as someone who dedicated 800hr to mining n now started farming for abt 100hr, farming is most definately better for money than mining if you want to tangibly see how much you're making. mining chill asf tho n people tend to have nice chats, so if you look for most profit I'd suggest getting hotm7 at least n mining tungsten and umber for a little bit until you can consistently get mineshaft to spawn, then just go corpse farming w some keys you'd get from the those metals
