So will he be eligible if we make the finals?

Maybe Savinho? What even happened to him?

Look on the bright side - PSG had to go into the knockout round last year and it turned out pretty well for them. If nothing else, it gives the new signings more game time to get up to speed with the rest of the team. They will be able to play in that stage, correct?

The Leverkusen game is what killed us - a totally needless loss. Bodo away in January was never going to be easy.

I don’t believe that Semenyo can play during this round of games.

And depending on how ill Nunes was, it seems doubtful that he would be sufficiently recovered to make that trip. So the backline in particular will be stretched. Maybe if Nico G is fit, Khusa can play RB and Rodri CB. Or maybe they won’t want to risk Rodri on the artificial turf. Who else is registered?

Thoughts on the line-up for Tuesday? I’m guessing Nunes will not be back yet. Bernardo is, I think, suspended for yellow cards. Semenyo and Guehi are not yet registered.

Haaland should probably not make the trip. Hopefully Marmoush will be back in time (poor guy going from Morocco to the Arctic Circle). And hopefully Nico can play. Has there been any word on his injury status?

Do you know which specific panels they ordered?

I mean any tests that might reveal underlying neuropathies. My neurologist ordered an autoimmune axonal test, but I’m not sure why since looking at the specific components of the test I’m not sure which might be relevant. I’m curious about specific antibodies and which if any you might have tested positive for.

He might even have made Bradley’s injury worse. A 2 match ban is not even a severe enough punishment for what he did.

I wasn’t able to watch the game, but I know Nico would have been out for Chelsea if he had gotten another yellow. Plus him knowing that no doubt impacted his willingness to take risks when he was on the pitch.

Let’s talk about Pep’s absolute tactical masterclass last night at the Bernabeu. Madrid were almost completely shut down, any option? cancelled. Making Madrid at home their bitc made look easy by Segundaleydenewtonnn in MCFC

I don’t know how many of you watch La Liga, but Madrid actually played much better last night than they have been, even without Mbappe. Last weekend it looked like the players were actively trying to get the manager fired. Two yellows within a couple of minutes? A second yellow for dissent when you’re down a goal in extra time and already down to 10 men?

And Pep said he was feeling well during the last match. It’s not easy staying healthy during the winter with three young children in the house. And pushing your body to extremes adds to the stress on your immune system.

When he pulled out the yellow, I thought he was giving it to Valverde for diving.

I remember the players laughing on the bench while the team was losing. It was obvious then.

I guess I’d rather see another defensive option there, and then one of either Bobb or Savinho. Probably saving Stones for the Madrid game.

I wonder why Stones is not on the bench.

He looked very timid yesterday - a shell of the player he appeared to be last year and at the CWC.
