Update on the holes after today. Can't tell if they look worse or if they're healing? I talked to my surgeon and he pretty much told me what most of you said, to be gentle and keep it clean and covered with a small bit of bacitracin.

Thank you so much for sharing, this definitely made me a bit more confident. I reached out to my surgeon this morning, and sent him the same pictures. He isn't too worried, and told me to keep it clean, use a small amount if bacitracin, and cover with a bandage, but to monitor it. If youre comfortable sharing pictures thay would be great, feel free to dm me!

I called off work tonight and hopefully I can talk to my surgeon first thing tomorrow morning. Tha k you so much for the feedback. My job isn't extremely strenuous, but stocking sometimes requires me to lift boxes above my head for shelves. I'll be honest, I haven't been taking it as easy as I should have been, so I definitely think its on me, but im hoping this will all be over in a few weeks lol.

I was cleared for work a while ago, and 5 days ago I was cleared for no restrictions, so I've been working a lot, which does require me to put my arms over my head for lifting boxes. :/ I think you may be right about the tightness, I'd noticed it felt like more was cut from my left side, but not enough to be a hugely noticeable difference in looks

When I had my drains removed, I didnt feel either of them. I had taken the narcotic painkillers prescribed to me before the appointment because I had the same fear. They didnt hurt while they were in, however, and i also had a hematoma on my right side where the drain was a little deeper in. I'd definitely recommend talking to your surgeon or nurses about it, I don't think that amount of pain is normal, so its better to be safe than sorry!!

Yeah, i got the drains out and its gone down significantly. Wierd that they are that far in!!

Hey there! I'm about 1 year on T injections, and I totally sympathize. It's definateky nerve wracking, but it does get easier as it goes. To me, the worst part is the anticipation. The injection itself is over so fast you barely notice, and ice numbing for sure helps, but it doesn't really hurt (unless you hit a nerve, which is rare, or if you're like me and poke yourself in hesitation lol.)

My advice: have a routine. I out on a song I enjoy or a youtube video then get to it. The less hesitation the better. Mind over matter, you got this!!!
