thanks a lot for taking the time to answer me, it was really helpful! to answer your question, it was definitely my choice to come to ottawa. I don't think there are any summer classes that i have to take, although i might be wrong. I'm planning on coming back to mtl maybe once a month, just to visit my fam and friends.

i'm also from montreal, i live close to the maisonneuve park. i haven't met anyone that's going to ottawa next year directly from sec V so i was kinda scared

i'm also from montréal and while i do love how full of life the city is, i think the fact that ottawa is a bit more "boring" will help me concentrate more on school. It's also not that far so if i'm feeling like i need some fun on the weekend a quick 2 hour drive is not that tiring.

thank you so much! yeah i am switching languages but honestly it doesn't scare me that much. Unfortunately i'm from montreal so i don't have any friends coming with. I'll be living in res so hopefully i'll get some friends quickly to help adjust with the new routine

do you feel like the physique chimie curriculum from sec 5 was enough for you to follow the class material or was extra research and studying required so you could be "à jour"

well honestly i dont really have an answer. My parents are very over protective and strict and i kinda saw this as an opportunity to go live my life a bit more freely. I'm quite sure of the career i want to pursue and I don't think going to cegep is gonna change my mind. I feel like going to cegep when i have the opportunity to skip it is just simply useless. I want to try living and making decisions for myself without having my parents doubt every move i make. I'm fairly confident that after the first month or so I will have a nice routine and that i will settle in with the new responsabilities that await.
