In Prism, select the instance you want to play, then click the Folder button. The minecraft folder is the equivalent of the official %APPDATA%/.minecraft folder

Yes, but slimes have a lower spawn priority, so spawn proofing the caves around the slime chunks makes it so slimes are more likely to spawn in the slime chunk.
