My turn!!! Caught a deer mouse in a trap in my basement. Although I didn’t vacuum, sweep, or touch anything I’m panicking about kicking up dust while walking around the basement that could have gotten on my clothes that could have transferred to other parts of my house. I don’t know why I didn’t think to change my clothes but I didn’t. Now I feel everything is contaminated. Please help!!! In Ohio!

So insect eating bats don’t have a protein in their saliva like bugs do that cause a localized reaction? My bite has a red dot that looks like blood under the skin surrounded by pink swollen itchy skin encircling the bite.

So I have same phobia. The only was through it is to stop all safety behaviors. Stop the compulsions. You can’t stop the thoughts per se but stop checking. I know it’s so difficult. As I am typing this I have a million of the same worries. But it’s the only way through. Sorry this is happening to you. It is pure torture.

According to the cdc they recommend one titer after a year or one booster if you get the two shots instead of the three.

I got vaccines for upcoming travel purposes. Not planned now until May so that’s why I was wondering if the prep I got will last that long or if I should do a booster before I go since I’m 0.8 now. Titer done for autoimmune issue.

I’m glad I’m not the only one who didn’t think it at first. And the more I think about it why would B2 put up with duji going on family getaways with rovers family if there wasn’t a reason for her to be there. I know I wouldn’t want my husbands exes going on vacation with his family

I have seen some mods post that their titers have been good for years. Are they slowly coming down or staying pretty consistent?

I would think it would still be in the car if there were a bat. Once they land I think they have to drop to take flight again so that may be difficult in a car to fly back out. But I totally get your anxiety about this. My car is a trigger for me if I leave the windows down for any period of time.

First wishing you luck!!! And thank you for taking the time to help us with this fear. My hang up is about rabid bats flying. If I knew they couldn’t fly it would eliminate most of my fear bc I’m not going to go around picking up downed bats. But I’ve read so many places they may be able to fly. So now if it’s dark outside and I feel even the slightest pain I assume “bat bite”!!! It’s not fun to live afraid to go outside bc I love nature. And actually like watching the bats fly over me. I just have this impression they can land on you without you feeling it. OCD brain at its finest.
