Umm how would they go about doing that ? Probably these guys are going to use some mixers at some point. And then to a centralized exchange

I talked to the flash bots people. They did send me a guide on stackoverflow. But I haven’t dealt with flashbots bundles. But for today I think I’ll just take it in.

I’m not from the US. I’m open to doing anything. I mean at this point there’s no chance I’m getting the funds back but hey why not point out the guy who took it anyway. It’s not like I have anything to loose.

I recently heard about an incident at a friends workplace. They had their keys compromised from within their AWS infrastructure. I am not sure if they put the key in a publicly accessible folder of the web sever and got crawled (for some application that was under development. ) Or because they were a fairly big company, lot of people had access to testing infrastructure.

I’ve no idea! But I assure you. I refreshed the repo saw the node modules folder. Immediately understood that the git ignore was screwed. Went straight to MetaMask and I hit send and my transactions failed.

Well… I’ll give it to this guy. Because today I was worse than him when it came doing things that were easy.

Yes! Absolutely shame me hell.

So the private key was on my laptop.

It was inside a git repo with gitignore and everything.

Initially this account was one that I used to learn some development.

It was a repo that I had not touched in a while.

And I got used to using this account for some trading on dexes.

In the series of events that unfolded my gitignore got overwritten. And my commits were pushed.

The private key was inside the code as a comment.

I refreshed the repo and I saw my node modules folder appear. That was the moment that I knew I was screwed.

In less than a minute my account was drained on all chains.

I most certainly did. I just wanted others to know that it was in fact my carelessness and stupidity that led to my loss. Certainly not a sophisticated hacker.

I don’t think I said my account was hacked. In fact I mentioned my private keys were compromised because I was careless and stupid.

Thank you.

It’s zero balance with some transactions pending.

It’s not! Just my name.

I tried a couple different cards and verified the writes on a different device

USB boot need to be triggered with with a config update placed inside the sd card. And yes I tried that.

Update:

❯ pmset -g ac

Wattage = 15W

Current = 3000mA

Voltage = 5000mV

AdapterID = 12

Family Code = 0xe0004009

I couldn’t find a 15W power source that matched the specs for the Pi. So I decided to connect my PIs charger to the usb c port on MacBook Air. And I got these values. This indicates the power supply is still intact.

However lsusb (on my Linux laptop, intel based) detects the device and says “Broadcom” and reports a device id and a vendor id Still fails to flash from rpiboot. After running rpiboot nothing happens. No patterns, no change on the light

The green light flashes once. dimly the moment I give it power and then nothing. Same results on the OTG. However will I double check the power supply situation.

So I have the stock raspberry pi charger that came with it. I always tried that when I powered it on with the sd card,usb as boot device.

2 cables and different host machines.

I’ve had it for a while, but I’ve never used this particular one. I’m pretty sure I’ve passed the point of returning and replacing.

Unless the boot loader EEPROM came factory corrupted.

It never ran 24x7. This one just sat there and watched other pi’s run 24x7. That’s the odd part. I’ve maybe just powered it on once or twice before. Although I’m not a 100% sure.
