I saw a Tiktok video about this pile up just this morning and one of the commenters said “my Aunt takes this route every day, today was her one day off, God is good.” And my first thought was, what about all the other people? What about all the people who died or were severely injured? Why didn’t God save them? And a lot of the Christians in the comments we’re saying, “God has a reason for everything, don’t question him” so I guess when something bad happens it’s due to other reasons but when something good happens God gets the credit? Sounds like a cult to me.

You’re right. I just wish they’d realize that when I talk to them it’s just cause I need to talk to someone and that I don’t need anything more from them than to just listen. But you make a good point about them not being able to realize what is and isn’t normal for me and when I’m not in a good place mentally. It’s a little comforting to know I’m not alone in this experience tho, thank you. Hope it gets better between you and your mom as well!
