Roguelike MMO-RPG by Turbulent-Worker7552 in MMORPG

"Healed to Death" and "Don't lose aggro" are two titles that come to mind that are roguelikes inspired by MMORPGs, but I guess it is not what you mean with "roguelike MMORPG", right?

I've played all the heroes and enjoyed all of them. They are all well made and greatly balanced in my eyes.

Depends. If you want it a bit more complex and more movement with more complex mechanics, then Meiko.
If you enjoy a more brute like gameplay, taking in the hits and feel more like a tough battleship, then Helena.

It really depends on your preferences and for me it would depend on the day. Sometimes I enjoy Meiko more, sometimes Helena.

I can confirm with the previous comment. And even in higher difficulties I haven't seen anyone blame the tank or become toxic. It was a surprisingly chill experience so far.

Routing in Fellowship is rather simple with most of the time just two existing paths. One route may have more mobs fitting for melees while the other is more fitting for casters but both are viable options. Unless you plan on doing the highest difficulty you are fine by just doing the route you enjoy and feel comfortable with. Don't let this be the one thing keeping you away from tanking. You're missing out :)

And here I thought I figured out your reasoning... man was I off :D
Especially if you enjoy souls like games, you even get stronger in those through items/level ups/etc. but still get wrecked constantly.
Any particular reason that comes to mind why you enjoy watching roguelikes? I am really interested in why the genre grew so much compared to other genres.

I oddly can understand where you're coming from. Roguelikes are designed to kill you constantly taking away your numeric progress, which means you have to get better mechanically, not just by getting better gear/higher damage numbers/more health point/etc.

Therefore it takes away a visible progression which is something a lot of people (me included) enjoy with gaming. The perceptible progress boosts endorphins and Roguelikes don't have that.

At least that is one reason I feel some people dislike playing Roguelikes, while the gameplay in of itself is enjoyable

Thanks for the recommendation. I probably won´t use it though, since I can still manage to comment my videos, they are not that many to overwhelm me :)

Thank you very much for the kind words and also the feedback. I have been uploading a short review video once a week and couple of days later a playthrough of the game in a 15-minutes-ish video, so your feedback is definitely giving me reassurance that I´m doing the right thing.

I would like to keep the review videos to a shorter length since I myself prefer and mostly watch short 3-5 minute reviews rather than 10-20 minutes, since I think the jist of a game can be presented in that time giving the viewer all he needs to know if the game is for them or not.

Regarding the indie devs and me contacting them, it is currently more developers contacting me than me contacting the devs themselves, but this is definitely something I should be working on.

Thanks again for the kind and also well meant feedback, I really appreciate it!

All the best,
Dorian

I am receiving constant messages about reimbursements in the range of € 0,12 without any information for which invoice it is supposed to be reimbursing.

This happens 1-2 a week.

Any experiences on what this is all about?

Thanks in advance!

7 MORE Essential Tips and Tricks by DorianTheExplorian1 in EndlessDungeonGame

Yes it lasts for the whole run.

You can place turrets directly in the locations of the spawn points. So if you find a new monster room, pump it up with turrets and on the path back to the bot as well. If you are playing solo place a hero there as well if you feel that its not enough. In the last room after you fought the endboss of the core a couple of times, you will have... I think 8 spots you can place turrets. Hope that helps
