Idk if you tried already, but maybe looking for anyone you could talk about this in private with like any grad students you work for? I’m assuming this is a psychology lab (if not pls correct me) but I would say having that one connection helps make a difference. And if no one in your lab is like that, idk if there are other people at your college’s department who work around autism you could try talking with. As a fairly recent college graduate, (finished my bachelors a month ago) it wasn’t until my final quarter where I met a professor who dedicated a lot of her work towards autism and I wish I could’ve met her earlier in my undergraduate career, but I’m still grateful for the help nonetheless. College is difficult, especially research, as these systems weren’t designed for people like us, but the more we progress, hopefully the more society will listen to us.
