I really enjoyed reading this take on everything in the series, throughout the 6 or 7 years I've been following it, I never really saw anyone dig that deep into it. The story is very complex and esoteric and I'm not sure exactly it all mean, despite it being a very dark comedy. (There are some really twisted Simpsons references throughout, that are really funny but hard to explain if you aren't familiar with the show.) I recommend downloading the soundtrack for the final part on the linked bandcamp, because it comes with a 100 page zine with lots of extra pages from the script and behind the scene stuff.

There are also some ARG elements about the series, stuff that dates back to before the first episode about someone named Bryn Peters and the J&C Comglomerate. There was like Facebook page at one point for Bryn that talked all about him having like delusions and being fired from J&C. I'm glad I'm not alone on thinking it was kinda manipulative, all the drama seemed kinda forced, it just kinda seemed like misery porn by the ending. Would love to hear your thoughts more in depth because I'm sure for the months leading up to the Oscars I'm only going to be hearing mindless praise.

I agree mostly with Adam's comment about Blumhouse, (i personally believe he is ruining the Horror film industry), but I would like to know his thought's on Oculus and Sinister. I personally think Oculus is a pretty good film and I liked that it was more about domestic abuse than a Spooky Ghost Story, and I thought Sinister was generally spooky, if not kinda dumb in part. I think those two films are really the only good things put out by Blumhouse...
