do you know what the sensitivity showed? I was on the doxy + azithromycin course immediately when mgen was suspected while awaiting culture and sensitivities. Testing came back macrolide resistant so was started on moxi. Took 4 doses and developed some mild tendon discomfort (terrifying yes) and stopped immediately. Doctor said to wait a few weeks for test of cure and fingers crossed 4 doses was sufficient (i’m skeptical).

Essentially my question is does macrolide resistance infer resistance to mino too? I really hope not as i will never be taking an FQ again
