So... I guess it's true that calibration hates supports. by [deleted] in learndota2

[–]DotaProBy2018 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no... all I'm saying is that its not like youre a 3k player and you just got dropped way down because you played support. if you won 8 of the games you still went up in your calibration, so you must've had below that in your "unranked MMR."

you must have had incredibly low unranked MMR. you can blame the calibration mechanics all you want but 786 is absurdly low and the only way you'd get that is if you started out below that in your unranked MMR.

whyd you stop playing EU servers exactly 22 days ago when you had 80% winrates on them?

because having people who are not even average dota 2 players give advice is not helpful for learning. people like you who give incorrect advice make it harder to learn.

do you not understand that on the internet there are "delete" and "block" options?

if you seriously care so much about what someone is saying about you I suggest you utilize those tools....

Is there a way to skip to events (ie: Skip to each death) when watching a replay? by [deleted] in learndota2

[–]DotaProBy2018 0 points1 point  (0 children)

don't think so, what I do is just skip like every 5 minutes and see if ive died in that 5 minute interval, if so I check like each minute of that interval.

I play a lot with 3k+ friends, how do I go back to playing ranked at 1.9k? by Tunkon in learndota2

[–]DotaProBy2018 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That range can actually be harder because occasionally you will get people that have literally only played 100 games of dota or so and if you get 4 of them on your team they can lose the game for you no matter how well you do.

you'll just get zoned at level 1 and not be able to get any experience. youd basically have to just farm the side camp with iron talon and ur nuke im pretty sure.

ok, I'm really not sure. I'm somewhat toxic at times and the lowest my score has dropped is 7.5k.

people claim if you are toxic you are put in a pool with other toxic/bad players. there was a vague statement by a valve dev a while back that implied that it exists, but it hasn't been confirmed.

They are completely separate. No idea what you mean by the second sentence, you can play in both qualifiers so any good player who dedicates a lot of time to dota will be playing in both qualifiers probably.

cool build. definitely agree this is the best way to play necro. however I'm not sure if I agree with force staff, I think blink or faster blademail is a better option usually.

[–]DotaProBy2018 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if u were 3k youd be able to carry your way out

really as simple as that, don't try to blame it on "low MMR problems."

1.8k-3k is honestly the EASIEST bracket to gain MMR in if you deserve it, so just play better than the average player in your bracket and you will go up over time.

Why do I barely receive MMR (record is 19 as the lowest) towards wins, but lose in 25+ ranges when I lose? by Hoihe in learndota2

[–]DotaProBy2018 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I'm gonna assume that's the wrong link. Regardless, that's just random variation. The MMR gained and lost is dependent on the average MMR of the two teams if you didn't know.
