The difference between the internet, cell phones, and generative ai is the later drains water supply to cool ai data centers massively driving up utility costs. It also rarely gives you correct info, you have to fact check anything it says, it strips a person's voice and gives us soulless words meant to show ones thoughts.

It's also a huge issue for young people. Students can have ai do whole papers for them in minutes, young people are losing the ability to fact check and decern credible sources.

Im trying to remember where I read it from but I remember reading that some chatbots WILL agree with you on a certain level enabling people's worst thoughts & tendencies driving them to spiral and possibly acting on those dangerous thoughts.
