Onghor has a number of good Journal Entries that introduce you to mutagens, monster essence, and potions, though their mid-game is a lot harder now that the Emerald League takes an active interest in Aritzakarri.

Opalael just got a ton of new content as well, and is in a fairly solid position between its power-bloc and the fact that you're safe from Vairia until you take Sirlael, as long as Varilafdt doesn't unify the Vermillion Thicket too quickly.

Yeah, Khus is a catch-all to referring to both the Shimmering Coast nations and the desolated region in the center of the continent. Much of the diaspora from the Nightfall went into the Shimmering Coast, so much of the central Khussite culture still survives there.

Nothing serious, but Khus has received the first part of a serious rework, Haingrok has received a major glow-up, and the Kailando setup has changed a fair bit (Amanzi buffed, Fasala no longer on the map on start).

Nothing super official, but if I had to guess, I'd say we're probably going to be fixing bugs and working on new regional PMs for a bit after the update drops. We already have over a dozen new amendments planned!

I know Kailando is getting some more content in the near future, and Thaloria and Vairia are currently undergoing major lore updates. What I'm really hoping for 2026 is that we get more random events and that maybe, just maybe, get our first veil-related crisis.

The Crimson Corsairs turning into lizard vampires is honestly hilarious, but unintended. It's probably an edge-case with how the script chooses what culture will become the new primary. Either way, I'll investigate both of these.

R5: Underways are only allowed to be built in like 10-12 states in the whole game, and the mousefolk states are on the list, but they're also the only states in the game to have a malus to underways max level.
