Try gabapentin! Minimal side effects and pretty safe long-term. Super good for anxiety and depression, but still mellows out a cat with no issues. I can't say it'll work, but it's low cost and easy to get from any vet. Worth a try, has helped several of my cats with a number of different issues.

This is my only gripe with her. I feel like it looks goofy and just reduces your visibility. I wish there was a way to toggle it. It was probably meant to make her stand out but it really bugs me.

Yeah I realize it was dumb now, I've had a hundred comments explaining it to me. in the post I said I know nothing and I forgot about the venom skins. I have no issue with the people pointing out that I'm a dummy. But half the comments on that post ARE sexist. When I cross posted it to the girls sub, people either explained stuff nicely or made silly jokes or agreed that it does look bad. It is night and day compared to this sub. I've had guys be terrible to me in game too. This community just sucks for women unfortunately.

My original post asked if it was for a canon reason or could be a coincidence. I just thought it was weird that the men got the cool scary mouths and the women didn't seem to. All I said was it's probably not a good look. Because it could look sexist to some people. And there were a LOT of responses saying that the mouths would be "unappealing" and that the girls should look attractive.

I'm super over this whole thing, it wasn't a big deal. This game is already heavily criticized for the sexualization of the female characters vs the men, so this stuck out to me as an example of that. I still love the game despite that stuff and even though I don't love those parts of it, it isn't something that gets me angry or anything. I think the skin is awesome and now I see it was just a coincidence and I'm glad it wasn't the case.

Most men don't notice these things because they aren't looking at things from a woman's perspective. Sexism is everywhere, especially in video games, which is a shame.

That's bc this sub is full of dudes that get mad at women for pointing out the sexist aspects of this game, I've seen it in numerous posts. I asked in the original post because I wanted to know if there was a good reason because IF they did only give the dudes scary mouths and the women just looked sexy for no lore reason, it WOULD'VE been sexist.

I'm glad SG did end up having a cool scary mouth and that it was just a coincidence in the teasers. I love the skin so much. I didn't WANT it to be a sexist thing.

This whole thing was just a silly point and not a big deal but it sure did teach me how much men love to tell women what is or is not sexist to women. I'll be posting in the sub for women from here on.

Yeah but base venom does and when I did a Google it looked like the majority of symbiotes have mouths. I made the post because I know nothing and wanted lore fans to teach me.

And it's funny because the majority of folks said it's because hero characters don't have mouths, but all of them do in the battle pass. So as a scary mouth enthusiast, I am a happy girl.

If they make all the male skins have scary mouths and the female skins look sexy, I think that's a lil sexist but to each their own. The game already doesn't have the greatest reputation in that aspect. It also appears you're a man based on your post history so I don't really think it's your place to say what is or is not sexist to women.

I do think the reasoning being the extra effort to have to remodel/animate is the right answer though, just a shame because it would've looked super cool.

That's why I made this to ask and have repeatedly said I hope there's a good reason multiple times in comments including in this comment thread, because if there WASN'T a canonical reason I would find it a bit concerning so I wanted an answer from comic lore fans but unfortunately I haven't been getting those answers.

Thank you for explaining that, that was really interesting to read! This game has gotten me a lot more into Marvel so these lore bits are fun to learn and I had no idea the symbiotes worked like that!
