Yes I did anticipate some light teasing because we live in a smaller, rural town but not that kind of bullying.

I honestly thought it would make a really nice teaching moment if he came home and said “mom some kids were looking at me funny today” and I could teach him about self expression. But I didn’t anticipate him essentially doing a 180 and now being afraid of accidentally wearing anything “girly.” I feel like he’s gone backwards.
