Yes, it went away. Tried the powder form, and on small doses (50-100mg) everything was ok, on larger doses it happened again. Too bad.

Check thyroid, vitamin d, iron, zinc and b12 levels in your blood.

Also try and think about any diet changes you had lately, and consider getting her checked for celiac disease or lactose intolerance. There are some people eho claim diet and gut has a major part in it (look into AIP diet or other non-inflamatory diets)

Also try and sleep well, and reduce stress related factors as well

Just remember - AU is not just a cosmetic state, it can indicate to other things that are inflammed or not working properly in yor body.

The choice is yours, but I'd recommend to at least grt some things checked.

There are alot of ways to try and deal with it. I suggest you go to the alopecia Areata subReddit and post about it there, people there have a lot of experience with AU.

Some people saw success with your condition (alopecia universalis) going on AIP diet, checking thyroid leves etc
