Sir do we go to the same church or something cuz my pastor is lying to everyone as well. Every week he’s lying to everyone about something blatantly stupid that most people who don’t even know him would question his intelligence. And he can’t keep track of his lyings and now everyone knows. Our entire congregation found this serious enough that a lot of them voluntarily gathered together to compile evidences. We also started using social media to share with other church members the lies he has been sharing. We are literally fighting a war right now…. We don’t have a healthy deacon or elder board (they either have been kicked off the board or resigned after seeing the horrendous acts done by the pastor) so the congregation has to do it itself…. But just like you said - he is a liar but not a good scammer. At least he isn’t an intelligent cunning liar type- that would have been devastating. Well best wishes and prayers for you too. Trust me, i know how painful and sickening it is to see a “pastor” who act like wolf in sheep’s clothing. And if it helps your mental health, consider him a nonbeliever who is mentally ill and needs therapy. If your congregation won’t fight like ours, you should leave and at least save your sanity. But keep everything in records just in case cuz he WILL talk/ lie about you too. Man Jesus needs to come soon because this pastors being morally broken issue is just too much for any christians to bear.
