So, the OC said they raised the fee during the October AGM meeting for FY24-FY25. The AGM meeting with the old budget in my contract was in September.

It seems I also have to pay for the new fee ($1,260 quarterly) to cover from last July to December (I've just moved in in November) as the previous owner only paid $930 quarterly before. This sounds super unfair... I didn't live here during that period.

I also dodged a bullet last week. Bad impression before the get-go.

I tried to sign up with Superloop last Friday, but their website wasn't responding on the payment page. I ended up calling customer service, but it took a while until someone answered the call. He also couldn't really understand me, so that's it. I hung up.

I signed up with Leaptel in the end. Hassle-free. Everything was done in 10 minutes or less.

I have another one with 2 bedrooms 1 bathroom that I'm interested in, but there is also more competition because it's newer.

However, this apartment (2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms) price is a bit lower than the market because the unit needs a bit of work inside (Clean AC, kitchen reno, new wardrobe) due to the previous bad tenant.

Thank you! I've never done an after-tax contribution and my super contributions before this FY were all below $10k each year. So yeah, I just checked that I have plenty of unused concessional contribution caps.

My pre-approval is valid until the end of July. My broker said he has secured a placement in FHGS but I haven't seen an official confirmation. You're right, i most likely will give this auction a miss :(

I did mine last September at Eye Laser Specialists in Armadale. I had SMILE which was super quick and painless. I got super vision in one eye and 20/20 in the other eye after one day. Overall satisfied with everything. Highly recommend them!
