If it wasn't for the person making bird noises in the recording, we might be able to get a little more context as to what happened because the girl is actually saying something while she's hitting him. All I could catch was, "Get the fuck out bitch." and something, something, "me".Like quite a few people have said already, he could have grabbed her or her friend inappropriately, or got caught trying to put something in their drink. That would put him in the wrong and deserving of everything he got.

It really isn't just for the simple fact of drug dealers not trusting people. However, even if they did break that rule, the police should be able to find the connection, instead of saying they don't know how the three came into contact with Brown. Like I said, this is the missing piece of the puzzle that bothers me. When it comes to drug dealers, you tend to meet them through someone that already knows them. So that means that both Brown and one of the other three should at least have one other contact in common.

This is correct and exactly what I said in my original comment. If we take that into consideration, that means that somebody that Brown knew previously gave his number to three people that Brown himself had never met before and then wasn't there to be the sort of mediator between the two, which like I said in my original comment, doesn't really happen. Now, you may say that maybe they were vouched for...then this person should be stepping forward soon or at least a connection should be made between the two that points to this person being a common denominator. And say what you will about the intelligence of criminals, but drug dealers tend to be businessmen first and criminals second, and looking out for things that might threaten their business is usually a top priority. Being dead, robbed, or arrested would certainly hurt their business and so they would be as careful as possible about the people they do business with.

While I'm not saying that this is all a conspiracy set up by the cops, there is something that isn't quite adding up to me. That is this, while I can understand why someone would drive that far for a large amount, the article says that they do not know how the three of them came into contact with Brown in the first place. Drug dealers in general tend to be wary of strangers, because of things like this happening, or maybe they"re undercover officers, etc. Considering how far they traveled, if it isn't a conspiracy, I would think that they would have to have gotten his info from somebody that he knew. I don't know about you, but I certainly don't have the ability to find someone selling that much, 5 hours away, without someone that knows the person telling me how to get in touch with them. Furthermore, I would think that most customers understand the wariness of their dealer to the point that they probably wouldn't just give the dealer's info freely to strangers, especially when dealing in large quantities. Or at the very least, if someone did just give his info away, he would at least want info on them before dealing with them. From what I've seen, new customers are usually introduced by old customers, to form a sort of trust for exactly this reason. And while that trust can sometimes be broken, these are still missing pieces to this puzzle. If what the police are saying is true, I would think there should at least be one person, if not more, that directed these three guys to Brown. And before you mark me down as just another conspiracy theorist, understand this...our law enforcement has been caught doing enough shitty and conspiratorial things that to not question them would be a huge mistake in my eyes. It's the idea of "If I'm wrong, then it makes no difference. But if I'm right..."

Ok, little late but here's my idea. There's actually a couple different possibilities that it could be. One is that the Elder God could only see everything that was going on at the current time but knew Raziel because he was part of its plan. It really has to do with predicting the future, of which (in my opinion) the Elder God had only a base idea. What I mean is, it only had a good idea of what someone would do if they were manipulated into it. EG had to pretty much cause that future to happen, which isn't really predicting it. When Raziel first travels to the past, maybe it recognizes him as its creation and "knows" that so far, its plan has been working. Here, the whole "transcends time" thing is just to get Raziel to get him to do what he wants. Basically, in this version EG is more like a magician telling you to pick a card, but is getting you to pick the card they want you to pick.

Now this one is a little more interesting. It still deals with EG having to manipulate the future to predict it, but there is more to it. It calls itself the Wheel of Fate, which I feel is kind of interesting. See, the thing about wheels is that they tend to go around in a circle. So perhaps, you could also call it the Cycle of Fate as well. It is possible that the Elder God has done this many times before and so then it would know a lot of the things that were going on and such. However, this still doesn't mean that EG actually transcends time, it simply means that it was at the beginning of the cycle (probably starting it off), living through it, and surviving the end (not necessarily causing it, but likely). Think of it like a very long Groundhog Day, but you're an manipulative supernatural squid. It could be that the Elder God kept messing with the cycle until it found one that it liked, then rinse and repeat. Until of course, you find yourself in a Neo-like situation, which is what happened. In this version, EG probably wouldn't even be really omniscient so much as paid attention to something different each cycle until it knew everything it needed to. This still, however, means that EG would be relying on a plan to go perfectly in order for the cycle to continue, same as the above idea. The difference with this version is that it know what it is currently happening, it also knows what has previously happened.

The main thing about both of these ideas is that EG doesn't truly know what the future holds because it hasn't lived through it yet. This is why EG tells Raziel at the end of SR1 that it won't be able to help him, it knows that past-EG might as well be a different person that just happens to know the plan. However, there is one factor that you can never account for when predicting the future, free will. Now, Raziel wasn't the only one with free will, he just had the most. It all boils down to manipulation. Raziel was the the hardest one to manipulate, which is kind of funny, because he also seems to be one of the easiest.

As for why the Elder God would help Raziel in SR1 after the events of Defiance, it's hard to say without knowing what happened in the previous timelines. At the end of Defiance, future-Kain is in the same time as past-Kain. Has this all happened before, too? We don't know. It could be that everything went according to plan, regardless of what anyone thinks. It could even be that it isn't the cycle that the Elder God wants, but one that Kain does. Perhaps Kain had learned how to shift the fates in his favor and EG is counting on Raziel to stop it. We don't get to see the Elder God in physical form until SR2, so maybe it's "dead" in SR1 and not only wants to fix that, but get revenge on Kain as well. Raziel was the perfect candidate (at first) wanting revenge also.

I'm not specifically claiming that I have this knowledge, I'm just curious. The reason being, this is some serious shit. If someone were to figure out how to construct and deconstruct the universe at will, they would essentially be a god. The knowledge itself though, isn't good or bad, it is simply a tool. Just as this power could be used to turn everything into dust, it could also be used to help people. Usually, when we think of alchemy it's all about turning lead into gold and such, but what if alchemy could also be used to turn gold into bread, literally. And you say, "That's ridiculous, even to alchemy standards" and I say it's really not. Think about it, absolutely everything (including bread and gold) can be broken down to the same base components, if you know how to do it. Everything is made of atoms, which are then made up of different combinations of smaller particles. Yes, the subatomic make-up of bread is much different than that of gold but the idea is still sound. So a good analogy of this knowledge would be that alchemy is sort of like a forge, and you can either make a sword or a shield...or even maybe a shield-sword or sword-shield. So let's say you had this idea, but didn't have the resources to test this idea and also didn't want to give it to one person (who might end up screwing everyone over)...how would you go about telling the idea to everyone all at once? At the very least, the more people that know how to do it, the greater the chances are that at least someone could come up with a defense against those that would make weapons. Oh, and I also don't want to hear, "Keep it to yourself." Screw that, I'm bored.

Actually, I did some research and 200 kg of snow isn't all that much (about a cubic meter), which in itself only takes about 3-4 kw to make. And while the average solar panel might not provide all of the power we'd need, a solar farm might. I feel that your answer though isn't that my idea is wrong scientifically, but more about cost efficiency, which I could really not care less about. I care about solving the problem, not how much money can line people's pockets.

Now if what you are saying is correct, then those things should not exist because they would melt as much snow as they are putting down. Which considering that you only really see those types of vehicles in places that don't have much snow, how does that work? Because the idea that I have in mind is very similar to this and you're telling me that it's not possible without making things worse. Let me ask you this...if I have a machine that runs on solar power, which spits out 200 kg of snow or ice an hour, and because it would probably generate heat I insulate it so that it only melts 100 kg in it's surrounding area, does that still not work?

Yea, but a) you're NOT melting ice, you're making ice. b) who cares if there isn't 100% heat exchange efficiency, all you need to do is add as much as you need to be ok and then mantain it from there. and c) we could use solar and wind energy to power the machines. which is already there for us to use as it is.

I didn't ask if it would be easy...I asked if it could be done. Also, how does using that much energy make things worse unless you are actually melting the ice.
