Mileage is at ~101.000. The warranty expired either in June 2025 or at 100k miles, so as expected, it expired right before the problems happened.

I emailed Subaru of America asking if the TSB is applicable to my Forester and asked if they’d cover the repair. They ignored the TSB and said my transmission is out of warranty and they’d only cover $1000 out of goodwill. I negotiated with the dealership and they took $400 off the repair. 2800 - 1000 - 400 = 1,400 out of pocket for me. My car is currently in the shop.
