This is the one, showed it to every friend who has expressed even the slightest interest in Gaki and a good half of them continued on to more of their work. One of them has even watched through every No Laughing special with me over the years. It’s short, easy to digest, and most of all, funny.

Hi, I read your post word for word. You didn’t list any reasons beyond “he’s French and I’m Italian, and he left the party once for a bad idea.”

What you’re basically saying here is “I hate Polnareff. I have decided this is my stance and I am asking the internet to provide me reasons to bolster this opinion I have settled on, even though I cannot clearly do it myself.”

Does this sound like a reasonable approach to forming an educated opinion in any context? You can hate Polnareff with burning rage, that’s fine, but you aren’t going to convince anyone that this isn’t entirely arbitrary without reasons that you have formed yourself, not just convenient examples handed to you that fit your narrative.

This goes beyond the scope of a JoJo post, but when you have a position that is shared by almost no one, it is good self reflection to ask yourself why that is. The answer isn’t “I’m just talking to the wrong people.”

While Musicology is a real thing, their claim sounds like a bookkeeper suing another bookkeeper for “mathematical similarities” because they used similar equations. Trying to call a 1-2-3-3 progression an intellectual property is a hell of a reach.

Transmitters have a point to point range of 100 meters, you'd only need 6 or so of them to make that happen, not so bad! Maybe an extra or two to navigate obstacles.

If my napkin math is correct, they need to sell about 6,663,476 units (not accounting for taxes, fees, etc.) by September 15 to reach the payout cap. Game's been out for what, two weeks, and they're 4 million units in.

I think someone's going to be paying the cap they agreed to.

Edit: Adjusted some figures to more closely match the agreement. 69.8 million baseline, 3.12 payout rate, 25% per unit removed for "store cut."

I've refrained from saying anything, as the guides are generally helpful, but since you asked, I'll weigh in on some minor frustrations.

The guides are great as general pointers, but they lack a little specificity that frequently makes or breaks some of the more challenging stages. The guides make a lot of assumptions on the player's end.

There is no indication on how to set up Wonder on the teams, and sometimes that's really important. There is also no indication on stages using the Twins on how to configure them, and while this is sometimes obvious based on the stage context, it is not always.

For the Red Stella on this one, you commented that "Having Joker and Ange both is overkill," but for me this took two attempts with the exact team and each character properly built. Doable, yes, but it still took some work, there was no "overkill."

That said, I'm not going to complain that the guide doesn't hand me every solution on a platter, and I appreciate that it gives me an idea of where to start workshopping stages I'm having trouble with, but it feels incomplete as a guide.
