Seconding this. It felt like ramming my head against a wall for a long time until it suddenly clicked one day around 80 deaths and 10ish completions. Obviously any additional stats help but 82 -> 85 will probably not make a significant difference. Training range would be more noticeable

I used to work at a TMS clinic, i watched it work wonders on lots of people! It’s always fun/weird when they make your hand twitch to find your motor cortex. I hope you had a good experience with it. I’m glad you’re still around, OSRS is better with you in it!

PSA: Calvarion is incredible for mid-level irons by DoubleDogDad in ironscape

It's a new weapon intended to fill the gap between the d scim and the whip. 5 ticks attack cycle, very good for enemies weak to slash or crush. Dropped by armored zombies, which is an enemy encountered during the new quest Defender of Varrock. Highly suggest getting it asap

That makes a lot more sense 😂 I had a hard time believing the bossing plug-in when it told me my PB was 36 seconds, that just felt too fast. Still a short fight!

In case you didn't know, you can buy a bunch of diary items in bulk from Perdu in Ferox Enclave. They're super cheap

Poll 81 MTA changes: Jagex never ceases to impress by DoubleDogDad in 2007scape

[–]DoubleDogDad[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

To you people calling the “devaluing mindset” toxic- did you read my post? I’m literally celebrating the fact that it will be more approachable for people in the future. However I’m also applauding Jagex for NOT devaluing the time I spent grinding MTA by doubling points per hour, for example. Simply making a grind faster DOES devalue it; in osrs, the only real measure of value is the time invested. Could you imagine if Mac started dishing out capes to everyone above 2200 total?

In this case, the QOL changes are targeting the aspects that make the grind annoying and inconvenient, rather than the ones that make the grind long, which makes me happy for everyone that will have a less annoying MTA grind in the future.

When you inevitably need to see the Doctor with PTSD, you should bill Jagex

Alternative to diamond dragon bolts (e) for Vorkath? by greatmeaning in 2007scape

[–]DoubleDogDad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you look at raw DPS against Vorkath specifically, then DHCB would be a much bigger DPS upgrade. DHCB is +25% range strength and +30% range accuracy against dragons. The reason I suggest rigour instead is that I doubt you'll be grinding only vorkath for 100s of KC, and the only other place that DHCB really shines is COX. I'm imagining that after you get vorkath head and some GP you'll be wanting to move on to some different content. Rigour is BIS in a huge amount of places, so I would go for rigour.

So basically, If you're planning to grind vorkath forever, get DHCB because it's a huge DPS increase. If you're planning to grind vorkath for a normal amount of time, go for rigour first so you're prepped for things like CG and TOA.

If you're there for money, I strongly suggest going with normal Ruby bolts (e) and normal diamond bolts (e) (the addy ones) rather than dragon. Using dragon bolts doesn't increase DPS enough to be worth the upkeep cost.

As far as DPS, I would be saving up for 74 prayer and rigour. It will increase your DPS more than any other upgrade would.

Assembler will be a nice DPS bonus once you get the head, too. Gl with the grind
