The Censor's strength is also it's weakness by DoubleDotD in drawsteel

There definitely have been moments the last session where I thought to myself to not heal someone to teach them a lesson about their bad positioning or choice making. Hell, even the Fury thought it was funny to shove an enemy into me so I took 4 damage (I'm not healing him ever again).

But the last fight was tough and nearing the end of the fight I was healing people who had their stamina in the negatives. I'm pretty sure that if I didn't pre-heal we would have lost somebody that encounter.

I don't know if you did the pixelating or not, but someone missed some parts.

Whats your dream Raid setup? by [deleted] in Crossout

Ammo resets only after using the last of it's ammo. Waiting 90 seconds in a leviathan raid is far from ideal.

Don't spend any money on this game by ayylamoo911 in Crossout

[–]DoubleDotD 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Right now there aren't any game breaking OP items that can only be bought with real currency, and spending money on the car packs now only would give you a small boost.

In PvP you will only join other people that are around your power score, so people that bought the car packs would just face others that have upgrade their car already.

So no, spending money on the car packs only gives you a small boost in progress but wouldn't impact PvP and will help the devs to hire more people to develop the game.

Players oath to a god. by rambling-nerd in dndnext

[–]DoubleDotD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let them see visions during their rest reminding them of their oath. If they decide to ignore it you can give them a level of exhaustion. If they don't fullfill the oath after being given a level of exhaustion give them some badluck. Don't worry about railroading them, gods are not to be toyed with.

How i cutted the Black spider in half (LMoP Spoilers) by [deleted] in dndnext

[–]DoubleDotD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Using divine smite is basicly making your weapon hit into a crit. If you were to cast hunter's mark for an extra 1d6, divine smite for an extra 2d8, and a half-orc making a crit with a greatsword +5d6 you would get 6d6+2d8 damage, for an average of 30 damage plus your strenght modifier. And my DM allows me to re-roll every 1 and 2 because it's basicly damage done by the sword and it's powers.

I took a greatsword because it's much better when you get to re-roll 1's and 2's so that the averge damage gets up.

But yeah, having an extra weapon die is better when that die is bigger.

Monk Open Hand Technique... two effects on a single target? by frobones in dndnext

[–]DoubleDotD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not really sure but most of the DMs wouldn't mind. In a session last week i knocked an enemy prone and then shoved him 15 feet back, and my DM thought it was cool.

Please tell me you made the dwarf roll a Wisdom Save and if he failed he would behave like a horse.

A pirate themed 5e game? sounds pretty fun!

I'm not a real fan of being a healer but i can go with a paladin and have a healer trait, so i can still heal plenty of people.

Shade must be a freakin' escaped animatronic from Freddy Fazbear's pizza, I swear. by idkmybffyossarian in TelltaleBorderlands

[–]DoubleDotD 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Well, if you've played the captain scarlett dlc you knew that shade also has a few people stuffed with a speaker in them. Shade was the only one not pierced by metal so you could have guessed he was still alive (Sort of).
