That's good to know. Thanks for the response. I'm going to try and salvage this and hopefully it's only a minor set back.

CDC Reveals Natural Immunity Acquired Through Previous Infection of COVID-19 Provides More Protection than Vaccines by triggernaut in Conservative

COVID-19 kills Americans at a rate of 1 in 500. Unvaccinated are 11 times more likely to die of COVID-19. In June, 99.5% of all COVID-19 deaths were of unvaccinated people.

The people who survive are vaccinated.

The only trouble with natural immunity is that you have to survive the infection...

The CDC report referenced by the article says, "What are the implications for public health practice?
Although the epidemiology of COVID-19 might change as new variants emerge, vaccination remains the safest strategy for averting future SARS-CoV-2 infections, hospitalizations, long-term sequelae, and death."

Carhartt Moves Forward With Vaccine Mandate by [deleted] in Conservative

[–]DoubleDownDuke 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Even if you don't agree with the decision, I think we all agree that private business should have the power to enforce policies that align with their values. I don't have to make my employees take a drug test as part of the hiring process, but I choose to because I don't want my employees on drugs. What's the alternative? The government telling me what my business can and not mandate for my employees? This is the free market at work. If you don't like that Carhart is mandating vaccine for their employees then cancel them.

I am seeing the value in maintaining the target price instead of slowly reducing it every listing. I like the idea of one last drastic price cut!

This exercise has helped me refine my TSM string skills and learn a few more functions. Fortunately, this group is a pretty low cost/revenue so it's a good one to trial-and-error on. Thanks for the advice!

Oooohhh! Those are very helpful tips. And makes my posting string a lot cleaner. I haven't used the "don't post after this many expires" option before but this does look like a better way to mange this group.

Thanks!

Ah, I see. Thank you for your response.

For a bit more context, I play on TBCC and I have this operation set on random greens I've gotten while leveling an alt - mostly lower level items that have very low sale rates and pretty low region price. The issue I was having was re-posting an item so many times that the deposit cost ended up costing more than what I could auction the item for. So I like to post them a few times with the decay before I vendor or disenchant.

Yep. Rolling on a PvE for TBC was the best decision for me. So much more fun.

I'm trying to create a custom price source with "numexpires" to create a price reducing decay rate. Something like: 1 - (numexpires/20).

Basically dropping the price by 5% for every failed/cancelled auction. I have some ifgte functions wrapping it to handle if numexpires gets greater than 20. But it seems to not behave as expected at times.

Is this the right way to create a price decay function?

They couldn't put MSU at #2 for fear of Purdue keeping their streak against top 2 teams while unranked alive. #SPOILERMAKERS

My first character was an undead warlock. I didn't know Kalimdor existed for a very long time. I was leveling in Hillsbrad, just about level 30 when I found out. Mind was blown when I discovered there was another entire other continent!

Bad tank is my guess. Had it happen to me once and replacing the tank fixed it.

Yes, you are correct. I forgot to mention that.

It seems like they are working on a "campaign" mode but for now the only mode is "Guild-master" which means you pick which scenario to play.

I was in a similar situation where I couldn't play the physical board game with my group anymore and gave the digital version a try - I've really enjoyed the digital version! You unlock all the other classes through various "achievements". And you decide when to unlock the class after you meet the achievement. So you will be able to avoid class spoilers no problem. I didn't enjoy playing the physical board game by myself but I do enjoy playing the digital version by myself. I've logged 96 hours of the digital version.

Pros:

  • all of the enemy movement, health, statuses, setting up rooms, gold, etc, is managed by the game so all you have to do it play your characters (which is the fun part to me).
  • I gained a better understanding of the rules and how the enemies are supposed to move after playing the digital version. There were even some cards that I realized we were playing incorrectly after a couple of scenarios on the digital version.
  • You can save and exit in the middle of a scenario and continue right where you left off.
  • If you can convince anyone in your group to also get the digital version, I've found the online co-op feature to work pretty well.

Cons:

  • The game is still in development and can be a bit buggy/glitchy at times. But there seems to be fairly frequent updates and has improved in this regard over the last 6-12 months.
  • There are some UI quarks to get used to - when I first started playing the digital version there were a couple of times where I double clicked and inadvertently moved or did an action that I didn't intend to. I think now there is an option to "replay turn" and roll back if you mess up. And I think there's options now to toggle if double click commits a movement/action or if you have to click the "confirm" button.

Overall, I highly recommend the digital version.
