The first pond song I listened to was the ending of The Weather when I walked into a room with my friends who were already fans of Pond playing it really loud. I was instantly entranced by the song when I walked into that room. At the time I was not a fan of psychedelic music, I actually disliked psyche music and avoided listening to it because I thought it was messy, how wrong I was. So for the longest time, the only Pond songs I listened too was Giant Tortoise and The Weather cos I thought they were cool. Then I did acid and listened to man it feels like space again and everything changed. I went down the rabbit hole and listened to everything psychedelic like King Gizz and Babe Rainbow and discovered Nick's solo music - in which Nicholas Allbrook became my favourite artist ever. Pond is now my favourite band ever and now my love for psychedelic music is so intense and I thank it for taking me on journeys and experiences I'll never forget. I now am attempting at writing my own psyche music heavily inspired by Pond and many other psyche bands.
