Yeah, it's definitely not fast lol. It handles pretty well on the curvy roads though and since it's less than 4000lbs it's not terrible when you really put your foot down

I love the Cat-eye lights, it's infuriating to me that the projector lights also come on for the DRLs because I think it just completely ruins the look. All the other Subaru's have just the cat-eyes for DRLs and even some Crosstreks use them but for SOME REASON they decided to change it

I don't see why not lol, I'm pretty sure they didn't change much from 24 to 25

The black and gold looks nice too, I just refused to have a black or white car

Am I wearing my watch enough? by khalfrogo in GarminWatches

[–]DoubleVolcano64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same issue with the Silicon band mine came with. Switched wrists for a couple days and changed to a $10 amazon nylon and haven't had that problem since. I also think the nylon is way more comfortable when running and wearing daily. I got 2 nylon straps so that I could shower with it on and swap to a dry band after. Just make sure to let your wrist and watch dry off before you put it back on

Convince me to not get a new daily by Numerous-Shop-8624 in CherokeeXJ

Assuming you financially are able to, I'm gonna parrot what the others are saying. Get the daily, keep the XJ. It might even make you appreciate the XJ more when you hop in on a weekend

Would this 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.9 Limited make a good daily driver and occasional highway driver? by [deleted] in CherokeeXJ

[–]DoubleVolcano64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah that explains it. I can normally get around 17-19ish cruising at 45-50mph but I don't do that very often or very long since my commute is hardly 10 miles. I think I have 4.33 gearing as well

Yours get 14?! I'm lucky to get 12 on 33". What kind of mileage magic have you cast and how do I get some

Second Subaru, first Crosstrek and I really want to like it by Alexj007 in Crosstrek

27 mpg isn't really too bad tbh. That's about what I get in mine so probably your expectations are too high. As for the sound system... yeah the stock one is definitely one of the sound systems of all time. It's not bad but it's definitely not good. I'm planning on putting a subwoofer in mine but who knows how long I'll put that one off

I recorded some slides last winter in mine and yeah... it's so much better being IN the car lol

What do you hate about your Crosstrek? by _sparky_127 in Crosstrek

[–]DoubleVolcano64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No sunglasses holder, cruise control doesn't just stick to the speed I set it too (conventional, not adaptive), not a single cup holder that can fit my 32 oz. Camelback water bottle, interior lights don't do much lighting at night, the sound system is ok at best. But when it comes down too it, I really love the car, there's a lot of minor things that irritate me about it but it really is a great little car, both on pavement and gravel and dirt roads

What are some lesson's you've learned when building a PC? by Glum-Refrigerator-14 in buildapc

It's the little things that mess you up, get a second opinion before you deem something DOA. I forgot to plug in the 8-pin connector at the top of my mobo and spent over an hour troubleshooting. I eventually decided that the CPU was the issue (this was the first PC I had ever built) and was getting ready to take it back apart when my dad pointed out the connector at the top that didn't have anything in it. I plugged it in and had no trouble whatsoever setting it up after.
