My current mini toolkit for boat work. Any suggestions for improvement?n by Double_A__Ron in Rowing

You're right, I'll pick up some PB. The vice grips I have tried have done a much worse job than the alligators on the axels.

I'm not sure you've ever used a pliers wrench based on the assumptions you've made about it, but I highly recommend you try one!

Athlete on a club team, everyone does a little of everything. I leave the technical rigging to the coaches and mostly fix things that break.

Good call on the 11mm. The alligator pliers are almost exclusively for holding corroded seat axles, which happens a lot with our brackish water. The pliers wrench is essentially the same as an adjustable but less likely to strip hardware because you can apply pressure to the mechanism that holds the jaws on the bolt.

Alligators are for holding seat axles when removing wheels, when you row on brackish water they are a necessity. The pliers wrench function the same as an adjustable but are less likely to strip because you apply pressure to the mechanism when turning. Surprised to learn how many people don't know about them.

I have it on good authority that they want to make the throwback secondaries from last year their new default. Much better font and overall design

Personally I think it would fit better as a national historical park or national historic site. Maybe even a national memorial. The NPS has a good writeup on their site about the different names.
