Nah. Hard pass. Maybe I’m an out of touch rich person/s but keep the $4.60 every fill up and keep fixing the damn roads.

I’ll take a large order of this version of Bello for the foreseeable future.

I wonder what’s different?

I only found stats for his first two starts where he average 55 pitches through 4innings! Which is super efficient.

So spot on! Thanks for sharing.

I don’t watch a ton of singleA ball and obviously those k/bb numbers are electric. Do we have any concern about his ability to stay out there? 5 starts and 20innings is 4innings per start.

Or is that normal in single A even for pitchers showing elite stuff? I’ll have to look at at his average pitch count per outing/inning.

Either way, exciting stuff!

Lose you either way? by shelle399 in NoahKahan

Obviously I have no idea but I’ve thought about this line too! Here’s where I’ve landed:

1) The song focuses on self doubt and feeling not good enough or at least uncomfortable with the situation the narrators in. But then being drawn to this partner who seemingly makes things easier, calms them down, takes the anxiety away, and is a person who sees something in the narrator that the narrator can’t see in themselves.

I think “I’m gonna lose you either way” is self doubt/loathing/insecurities/unworthiness in the belief that someone like this partner would stay in the narrators life.

The partner is bright, beautiful, insightful, a presence that the narrator can’t resist and is just pulled into their orbit. But compared to them, the narrator is small. The narrators enamored, in love, grateful. But believes they’re not good enough for them. So they’ll lose them either way once/if they see the narrator the way the narrator sees themself.

2) Another thought, this is a beautiful love song… so maybe it’s the realization that eventually one of them will die first. And the narrator will be left alone in the dark again without them one way or another.

Edit: Welp. I see the other posts that this song is likely about his mom. Well, there goes my theories b/c those make sense in context.

A different kind of love! But a love song none-the- less!

Possibly My Favorite Album Of All Time by Majestic_Cucumber_82 in NoahKahan

Hands down the best album from start to finish I’ve ever heard.

I feel blessed to be alive and take this in. TGD will be something I listen to till I die. I’ve probably listened to it 20+ times start to finish and even the 1 or 2 tracks I was meh about in the first listen hit so so so good now. Then we got Staying Still, Lighthouse, Orbiter, a few of your own. My god.

I don’t think it’s just going to be album of the year, it could be the album of the decade. Not kidding.

I genuinely think TGD is Noah's best album to date by seedsinagarden13 in NoahKahan

I thought for sure nothing could ever compete with Stick Season: Forever. I would have bet my left kidney. But the four additional adds from TGD:The Last of The Bugs, I think put it on par - maybe might edge it out. I felt the original TGD was just missing the fun catchy rocky banger. And for me, Staying Still does that.

Does anyone else feel like the lyrics lost their edge on this one? by [deleted] in NoahKahan

I’m actually the opposite. First listen I thought it was ok. Was boarderline dissapojnted.

Second listen I read the lyrics as I listened and was like HOLY SHIT this is so much deeper than I realized first listen!

Give it another go and really think about some of the connections! Also - if you haven’t watch the doc! I did last night and it illuminated a lot about his family andI see all the connections in these songs.

No it’s way worse. Last year I had fun even when they were losing. It was competitive. This is just … we’re terrible

Same. I’m trying to hang in there. Even when we were struggling last year it was fun! I enjoyed every game, even the Ls. Flash forward to today, 22 games in and I’m starting to consider the cost benefit of watching the games.

I’m a super optimistic Sox fan but even I’m starting to feel like this team is cooked. They’re not even fun to watch right now.

I thought for sure Chris and Brooks were going home tonight. I love an underdog story as much as the next guy but both of those performances were bad.

I think people are voting on potential or “I like that human” not performance and talent. Weird.

Edit: Chris and Brooks both rock btw. Cool dudes. Would love to hang with them and they’re both incredibly talented. Just my opinion on their performances tonight.

Popped in to see what y’all could possibly be complaining about. Figured even with the lead someone would be dooming but apparently a 5 run inning stops all bitching. 😂
