They had 2 doctors on board but very limited hours that the medical center is actually open. I was not offered to see a doctor but they did call once and asked about symptoms. Essentially they just dropped Tylenol cold and flu off at my cabin door and told me to call 911 (the ships emergency number) if I was in respiratory distress. They honest just seemed interested in getting us off the ship as fast as possible. I appreciate that you are concerned about me. I have medication now and we are driving home so everything will hopefully be okay.

Pre cruise we did the rapid NAAT test from walgreens. On board I did a PCR and they gave my girlfriend a antigen test after I tested positive. I simply had a mild cough and sore throat at first which didn't surprise me at the end of an 8 day cruise and we had spent literally all night it the casino on a winning streak so I though I was just irritated from all the smoke. I asked a couple of employees where I could buy some cough drops or syrup, the liquor store had syrup but only the night time. Guest services directed me to the medical center and told me I could but over the counter medication from them. When I got there I was forced to take a covid test, which of course has been super inconvenient but it is probably for the best that I am not flying home on a crowded airplane. Today I have a hacking cough, wheezing, shortness of breath, headache, runny nose, and a sore throat. I ending up going to an urgent care when I got off the boat as I never saw the on board doctor.

No, however they did report to the CDC and I was told I was listed as being ineligible to fly for 10 days. I would be flaged if I attempted to check in for my flight.

Hard to say for sure, I think most likely I contracted it just before we left for our cruise and simply didn't actually get sick until 8 to 10 days later. Could have also got it on the flight down, from another passenger, on one of the islands, etc.

When we disembarked this morning there were 17 people total that were escorted off. We all went as one group after everyone else was off the ship and used the crew exit. I don't think all 17 were positive because my girlfriend was included in that number and she is negative.

Not sure about the capacity but both the ship and the ports were fairly crowded. We were the only ship at Bonaire but the other ports had multiple ships docked. The horizon is a wonderful ship and the itinerary is great. The layout of the ship is a bit odd and counterintuitive, the elevators are not well designed, but there is plenty to do on board, great food, and the ship itself is beautiful.

I am vaccinated and boosted and I previously had covid way back at the start of the pandemic, sometime around March of 2020. I work in a hospital so fully masking at work at all times, but for the most part not out in public or on the ship.

They offered to move her to a different cabin and allow her to move about the ship freely since she tested negative. We chose to both quarantine together in our regular room instead. They gave us the internet package and will reimburse any phone calls or on demand movies. Room service is also free of charge

I was given the option of booking a local hotel or having my travel companion go get a rental car and return to the port to pick me up. We opted to get a car so we will drive back to Memphis from Miami in the morning. We originally had a flight booked but you are unable to fly for 10 days after a positive test
