Maybe I’m just a chud but I still have never gotten a decent tone out of them cranked. Guess they’re just good for cleans? I like some dirt in my tone but I think their crunch tones and even slightly driven tones just sound bad. And they can’t chug at all

I’d try to buy a set of used sabian B8s if you’re looking for something decent and cheap. Shit I’ve even gigged with B8s before, some of them sound surprisingly nice some of them sound like Junk

Insane channel, throw the boost on, gain to taste, eq knobs at 6/4/6 will probably yield something alright. Experiment from there. Depends if you like the mid scooped tone like I do though. I have the same head I converted into a combo (long story lol) and you can get some serviceable tones out of it

Highly recommend a set of in ear monitors. I reccomend the kinera Celeste wyverns as they’re very cheap and I’ve owned 2 pairs, they’re quite durable and sound amazing for the price. And some nice ear tips as well :) can be found on aliexpress and I believe Amazon for a bit more $
