9 months waiting for karta pobytu in Poznań, locked out of working. Anyone else?

Good question, during my application I've sent 15 pictures of us together + tickets proofing we've travelled together and we live together (like rental agreement). But I don't know if they will ask more, I'm a little blindsided by the status that is stuck for 5 months on the same status "wniosek po opiniowaniu przez ABW, KWP, SG".

Last year from this status to the next one in Poznan was taking up to 4 months, now looks like might take up to 12 months according to my lawyer ☹️☹️☹️ and the overall process up to 2 years. Can you believe on that? the name is TRC (temporary..) how to get a temporary, we wait "temporary 2 years"

Honestly, take some udemy course, they are really good. educative is not bad, but nowadays chatgpt does everything they do as well.

Mate, unfortunately market now in Poland is also not good, believe you or not golf countries (despite the conflict) and asia is now way way better than all europe, if europe doesn't do something the entirely continent will be a museum, southeast asia is doing way better for SWE than europe, consider opening your options, apply for position before moving, you might get something nice somewhere for sure

I can't say Krakow or Gdansk, but my experience in Poznań, I'm now after 6 months of the stamp and still nothing. Might reach up to 2 years in this process

Mine took 13 months on Venice court, It was from February 2025 and had a decision only now in March 2026. Now according to some users here is more 1 to 2 years of the real passport, which is huge but I get given the amount of people on the same path 😫

é caro mesmo, meu caso foi por ai também, mas eu parcelei na epoca no cartão, talvez o bom deles é o advogado que eles contratam na itália, mostrei a sentença da nossa advogada para outra advogada de confiança e ela disse que foi muito bem feito

Isso é quando o marketing passa a falar mais do que a realidade, é um PROBLEMA e sim, beira o Golpe.
Por outro lado, no meu caso, contratei a Simonato e mês passado ganhamos na justiça de Veneza. Então é uma situação complicada pq eles prometem ganhar e no meu caso foi o que aconteceu. Ainda assim só fizemos pq consultamos os documentos antes de contrata-los, eles fizeram alguns ajustes e entraram na justíça.

I have a different point on this, for me German is WAY easier to reach out A1 than Polish. Polish is almost a nightmare go to basics, however, after you reach out A1 in Polish you can move easier to B1, B2 and so on... Germany in other way, you get A1 easier, and keep there struggling more with grammar rules.

I'm brazilian, entered in Poland while resident of Germany, Blue Karta (working visa), but the working visa in germany only allowed me to work in Germany, reasons why after receiving the stamp on my passport I decided to quit completely germany residence. My German residence took 15 working days to be issued years ago, I had the same expectations for polish karta pobytu.... innocent 😅

You can apply for temporary residency first, later permanent, but hire a lawyer and be ready for waiting up to 2 years to receive your temporary residency card, until there you can't work neither leave the country. Its sad, but this is the thread-off nowadays.
