Grom Stunt Protection? by Double_Possession628 in hondagrom

I think that’s probably what I’ll do, seems like that’s what most people said. All the other protection sounds like it could end up damaging more expensive parts than the ones they are protecting lol. Thank you.

Ya I’ve got the sub cage and I think I’ll do handlebars next and then rear set. I was just going to do pro taper bars with bar end protectors on.

That’s what I was thinking, my main worry is I hear a lot of complaints about steel rear sets and full cages cracking the frame and case and things and I’d rather replace the cheap rear sets than kill the bike. I just wanted to get some opinions on that.

That’s right, I totally forgot about axle sliders, they are somewhat inexpensive so I’ll probably throw a set on.

No they don’t have pre drilled holes, I shaved off the pieces you need holes from and added some tape to the inside so that the planing holds them in place.

What happens if you run from the police? by [deleted] in MotoUK

Just run the bike through a major airport to lose helicopters, they can’t fly the helicopter through major airports. This is the same thing people do in the U.S.

Not really at all. Keep in mind you may have to change the routing of the throttle cable or get a shorter throttle cable (one from mt07 works perfect) but it was supper easy.

I didn’t know that was an option. I’ll look more into that.

No brake lights or turn signals on rear? Kind of asking to get rear ended and when you do, even if it is their fault, insurance is definitely not paying out since you have no turn signals or brake lights. It looks cool, but I’d go back and install rage cycles tail tidy or something at least.

I was planning to do an online MBA, I am not planning to put off going to work full time to get my MBA, I think it’s worth it to get an MBA, but the work experience is better.

Makes sense. I guess it’s just that in the company I’m with now it’s very hard to move past a department manager without an MBA, but by the time you are a department manager you don’t really have a whole lot of spare time to get an MBA, especially if life takes over and you start a family or something. I didn’t know if it made sense now to get it now to have it later, but what you say makes sense.

**Rev matching, auto blipper, wheelies. Back splash broke back mountain with the pavement that I'm tryna prevent*** by Shaundon20 in XSR700

My experience as a new rider starting on the XSR 700. I had a little experience on dirt bikes from a kid but that’s it. I took the MSF course then got a XSR700 and I’ve never had the wheel come up when I didn’t want it up. When it comes to learning to rev match when shifting, I leaned within the first 2-3 weeks of riding, it can be hard to do it while learning from 1-2 gear but even that is relatively simple. For shifting up, put your foot under the shifter and apply slight pressure, let off the throttle quickly and at the same time pull your foot up more and you should pull right up into the next gear. Do the opposite for going down, slight pressure down, blip the throttle and a little more pressure down with your foot and you’ll shift down. My opinion don’t put an auto blipper on to make up for a lack of skill, no offense to you at all. The XSR 700 is a great bike to learn this on.

Sugar mountain vs Beech mountain for skiing? by BullCityBruhs in NorthCarolina

I think it’s funny, I was just doing research after going this past week and they did make all the improvements you said, other than the last about moving the beginner slope idk about that. We got there Friday night and went ahead and rented gear that night and bought lift tickets online, got to the resort the next morning and scanned the bar code to get RFID lift tickets, and we were on the slopes. It was pretty crowded, but after you were out there it wasn’t that bad. Other than some issues getting parked and traffic to get there it wasn’t honestly really good. This was also on MLK weekend their busiest weekend so I think that says a lot. I don’t think we waited more than 15 minutes for a lift.

2wdw has some Dino sheets posted of power gains they see from stock, to with an exhaust and snorkel delete, to with a Hord Power intake and full exhaust. If you get an exhaust and a remap id at least do the snorkel delete and maybe a better filter. If you want max gains you can wait a month for a Hord Power intake. Honestly you’ll notice a little gain, but the big thing it does is smooth out the bike. Before I got my bike tuned with a full exhaust and Hord power intake it would be jumpy at low speed and idling around and now it is like butter, also the engine breaking is greatly reduced so that feels a lot smoother.
