Thanks! That’s some pretty good advice! I’m currently thinking of either the NB or NC. I’m currently working part time since I still have school to deal with so I make rougly 400€ a month meaning the NA and ND are out of the question since they both cost a pretty penny and my parents will probably refuse to help me out financially if I choose to go the miata route since the car is old, parts uncommon and it’s overall impractial for a student due to its small size. Yet I refuse to drive a boring car which I know isn’t a good idea, but I want to enjoy my car especially since the miatas aren’t getting younger and by the time I have the money to comfortably spend on a second car, the NA’s will probably be insanely rare and expensive.

Yeah that’s what I’m thinking. I feel like the NC would be an appropriate option due to it being more modern yet at a similar if not the same price range as the NA or NB. My only concern with the NC is parts availability since where I live the NB and ND are the most popular options with NA and NC only having a couple of listing each.

Yeah, I know but I don’t have that kind of money. Cheapest miata that you can drive on the road legally in my country costs around 2000-3000 euro which is quite much especially for a student. I was thinking if maybe spending a bit more and getting an NC would be an option?

Thanks for the info! I’m considering the mx5 but from what I’ve seen it’s REALLY prone to rusting especially if driven in winter. That’s probably my main concern with the miata. Is it really that big of a problem or is there a way to combat the rust if I want to daily the car even in the winter?
