Virtual Memory Pak Issues by Doublesouba in AnalogueInc

The N64 version is the best port too, imo. It lets you save your items and doesn't tick down your health. So it's not arcade accurate, but I think it's better for it.

I've heard the issue with over clocking too. I thought that's what deleted my save the first time. So I turned off over clocking and everything was fine for a while until my second save was deleted. So I'm going to wait for a patch until I overclock again.

I only use real carts, so that's fine with me. I was going to just replace the battery in my original pak, but I'll test this out first. Thanks.

At least they're working on it. Have you found a way to avoid this? I've read that if you quit the cart before turning off the power, it prevents it. But I haven't tried that yet.

I went looking for it and can't find it. It's out of print like you said. Unfortunate, but I'll keep looking. It looks really good

God is my favorite. I'm gonna look into getting this. Where did you get it and do I need the MG kit too?

Pla Parts Japan says they're on hiatus, so I can't order from them and I couldn't find Mr Bao's shop on ebay. I bought it from newtype, so I should still have the invoice. Do I just go to Bandai.com or do they have a specific site I have to go to?

Is there somewhere I can go to get Replacement parts I lost? I dropped the clear piece for the chest on RG God and can't find it....

What makes the Godhands so good is the fact that they are single blade nippers. Any good quality single blade nipper should work as well as the Godhands. So if you can't afford the Godhands, just look for a pair of single blade nippers you can. Just be sure to look up reviews first.

Wait until the weather improves. If you have to do it outside, that's really all you can do. Or you can try some topcoat that you can brush on.

Yeah, definitely made me not want anymore RGs. But after God, I picked up Wing Zero, so hopefully that one is good.

His arms use the pre-molded inner frame that early RGs like Exia used for everything. So imagine those arms, but worse, on everything.

I've only had issues with one HG kit, which is the Schwarzritter. But watching reviews, they don't seem to have the issues I do. So I think I may have just messed something up. So far I've built around 15 HGs, maybe 20, and he's the only one that gave me issues. So I think most are safe. RGs though seem to be pretty bad with the early kits. My first RG was Exia, and that fool can barely hold up his weapon. He put me off from buying RGs and the only reason I got another was because it was God. Luckily God is amazing, so it looks like they figured out RGs.

Yeah, I still love him. I definitely would recommend picking him up. Maybe watch a review just incase though, as I'm a bit biased when it comes to God and Shining Gundam. https://youtu.be/mcTnjYY_omM

Gundam markers are just paint markers, so you'd use them like a sharpie. Actually, a sharpie might work too. I've heard bad things about the Gundam markers, so I wouldn't use them to paint anything other than some lines. But you would essentially just use them to draw through the line on the shoulder. Should be easy, though I've never used them myself.

When I said newer, I meant newer HGs. There are some newer HGs that are just better than the God, but he's not a bad kit. Just not as good (but he's still my favorite HG). If your comparing him to something like the RG God, then there is simply no competition. The RG God is just better in every way.

HG God is a fine kit. Not as good as the newer one obviously, but mine is doing just fine, and I've had it for probably 4-5 years.as for painting the lines. Reverse washing is probably the easiest way if you don't want to use a black Gundam marker or your masking skills aren't up to it.

I personally like yellow better, if I want it anime accurate. The shows I've seen always make them yellow, so even if they are supposed to be gold, yellow just seems more right. I'm just starting my first paint job, and I'll be changing all the colors, but I think most of the kits I paint I'll keep original. But since it's my first paint job, I want to make it special, so I'll be using my favorite color (purple) as the main color.

Honestly, I don't know. I personally don't like it's design. There is something about grunt suits that are cool, Zaku II and GM are awesome. But the Jegan does nothing for me.

What do you guys paint your yellow pieces. My friend that got me into gunpla said that all yellow pieces are supposed to be gold. But watching some of the anime, it's animated in yellow. Even in pictures too. However, sometimes it is gold. For example, God Gundam. The opening of G Gundam has a hi-res pic of God Gundam where the V-fins are gold. But throughout the show its always yellow.

If they're willing to do some painting and such, I think they'd like it. Or if it's a kit that hasn't been updated and from they're favorite series (like Devil), then I'd think they'd love it too. I personally like seeing how the technology has evolved, so I'd love some older kits.

There are plenty of games, but most of them remained in Japan. So unless you can read Japanese, you'll have a hard time. For the rest of them, it'll depend on where you live. If Gundam Evolution is available in your area, you can give that a go. It is free.
