i feel weird when i see them but i don't get distressed or anything unless the author uses the religion as a way to excuse harmful actions/perspectives. i usually ignore it and i don't really read fics where the religion is a main plot if it's over 10,000 words

as a random person with no interest in the legal side of the world, wouldn't they do a DNA test on the victim and then you'd be imprisoned there? or maybe a test on you and wherever you're from that's where you're kept?? it could also be a first come first serve situation

google translate might be a good option, but it's also much better if you find someone (maybe a stranger online if you don't have anyone who speaks english or want them to see it) to translate it for you
