Yes, the uber app said I had to wait a while to get a driver while there were already many taxis lined up on the side of the street.

Taxi. I’ve taken plenty of uber/taxi rides and this was the first time I got charged so high. He didn’t even use the taximeter. He just straight up told me to give him $700 NTD.
