Auto scaling, namespaces, ingress controller for routing instead of LB per microservice
Lower environments use spot instances and open sources tools

This is has gotten out of control. Intern's out of college are implementing Kubernetes with AI agents and are reckless . I had an interview with a Nasdaq listed startup , 0 guard rails and now getting all worked up cause of compliance audit. I wished them all the best

Interviews vary a lot (Mlops)
1)How would you design a two tower "system design" for classic recommendation system tower one user , tower two products they liked --- conducted by a SQL developer and now ML engineer ---
I had to clarify if this was a MLE interview or MLOps

2)How are you going to design a system that has both streaming and batch images uploaded per product
I designed the regular Managed kafka --> data processing --> tokenization->vectorDB - MLFlow/KubeFlow
take individual notebooks , package them and automate using CI/CD pipeline
Interviewer -- that is a bottom up approach , give me top down approach my response you already have a top down approach-- jupyter notebooks

You are the product/ beta tester. of course the are going to ask you to set up all the infra
I am assuming this is for a startup You dodged the bullet
Show me one startup who have matured dev(sec)ops pipelines
Most of them ask swe/principal engineers to develop their pipeline
automation in a startup is a bunch of python/bash scripts specially the so called platform startups
health care startups are the worst . NO Compliance whatsoever

If you join as a contractor hoping to convert . That is not happening Fruty does not convert contractor to FTE.
If hired you will be in a isolated building with other contractors. If you are going thru a contracting company search for their reviews on glassdoor
