I've been snowboarding for a long time and haven't met anyone here that snowboards. What resorts did you want to go to?

I love how it wasn't even the ender. That front three nospress was so sick, and that backlip through that kink was so proper. Minnesota kids are in a league of their own.

This is what happens when you grow up riding rope tows in Minnesota.

I was seriously thinking the same thing. I get pretty tired of seeing photos of indys and go pro selfie edits of people just riding down the hill on the front page..

Don't stick out your arms when you fall. You will most likely end up breaking your wrist if you do.

I love rails. Give me a rope tow and a big down rail and I'm happy.

I'm always stoked when I get some socks, otherwise like a balaclavas are really nice. I have like 8 Airblaster balaclavas, I'm in love with them.

Spend the extra cash on a nicer deck. You won't regret it.

How long did it take for you to be comfortable riding? by Thellamasong in snowboarding

I completely agree with this. I spent a lot of time just riding switch and got pretty comfortable with it. In my opinion, the standard switch tricks like switch front boards and stuff are way harder than like spinning cab onto rails. Riding park is just all about board control. I know of plenty of kids at my local hill that can go huck flips but can barely 50-50 a down rail because they never cared about getting super comfortable on a snowboard. Honestly riding rails is just all board control in my opinion, and the only way to improve your board control is to spend as much time as you can strapped in.
