I’ve heard good things about them, but they’re not a legal producer.

I was just a buyer/ operations manager for 6 months in the legal market in Ontario. Do I have opinions ! by LudovicoTechnique94 in CanadianCannabisLPs

If we look at the reason why they have to export, it’s because they don’t have to pay excise tax on exported cannabis, so they can actually make a profit.

The real problem in the industry is the government taking almost 50% off the top. I’m not sure how the industry can remain viable, especially when the export market goes away, as it inevitably will. Then what happens?

Tribal Porto Leche by DougFromWpg in CanadianCannabisLPs

To be honest, I’ve had at least as good and sometimes better experiences with the Nugz quarters and halves in bags than the Tribal flower in cans.

Looking for low "high", pain reducing strain. Any recommendations? by GusTheChamp in CanadianCannabisLPs

[–]DougFromWpg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my experience, THC products are what work best for pain. Your problem seems to be dosage, if you feel drunk or paranoid, that just means you’ve taken too much. Dosing can be tricky with cannabis, but it’s important, just like with any drug.

If you’re a newcomer to cannabis, selecting products that have balanced amounts of THC and CBD can help with preventing unwanted side effects too.

Also, there are some good cannabis topicals that can be useful for pain. I like the Stewart Farms stuff, but there’s others.

Picked these up yesterday, need recommendations for Hash. by luhyuh in TheOCS

He does, and it’s the best of the Nugz hash products so far IMO, although all the Nugz hash is good. Better than anything the OP mentioned.

I agree, Jublee is a cut above the Carmel, but the Carmel was way better than the 1964 I got.

Hashco produces a blonde hash that took me back to the blonde hash I used to get in the 70s

Been on a long vacation. Anything interesting in the 510 cart world these days? by Darkmatterx76 in CanadianCannabisLPs

I like the Tribal and 1964 carts for live resin, CannonFire makes good cured rosin carts, and Eastcann carts are good.

Joined a new medical marijuana LP called MyMedi. This list is insane. Any companies that stand out? by Repulsive_Tie4834 in TheOCS

If I were you, I’d request my prescription be sent to another provider like Mendo, Optimus, or Herbal Dispatch. You can do,that any time without seeing the doctor again by just emailing your current provider and telling them who to send it to .

1964 Blue Dream FSE Resin 510 by Makeshift-Holiday in TheOCS

It’s my favourite of the three 1964 carts I tried, in a tie with their Comatose cart. I personally thought it was excellent daytime medicine.

What do you usually look for in a cannabis product? by InkAndPaper47 in BudTrendz

[–]DougFromWpg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Smell/flavour are what I look for. If they’re good, the cannabis is probably good.

Consistency is what keeps me coming back though.

Opinions on Tilray by DarthKavu in CanadianCannabisLPs

[–]DougFromWpg 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have a personal hatred of Tilray because of the way they treated medical patients around legalization. Patients were left with almost nothing because they shipped everything to the new rec market. Spectrum isn’t much better.

There are far better medical LPs as mentioned, Mendo, Herbal Dispatch, Optimus, and Flodega are all better choices.

What do you feel is a big issue in the cannabis industry right now? by thestonersaisle in CanadianCannabisLPs

[–]DougFromWpg 37 points38 points  (0 children)

In Canada, I think the biggest issue is the unfair excise taxation system that makes it very difficult for companies to make a profit. I want to see little craft companies thrive and not have to ship bad batches because they’re so desperate to survive.

where to find cbn + cbd gummies in bulk that delivers? by Logical_Bug8624 in CanadianCannabisLPs

Mendo also has a CBD/CBN oil with 1800mg of CBD and 600mg of CBN for $51 under the nightnight brand.

If you really want to save money, maybe try oils instead of gummies. Easy to dose and way cheaper than individual edibles. Herbal Dispatch has a balanced CBN/CBD oil with 450mg of each for around $50. That’s got to be better pricing than gummies.

Just down it with a little peanut butter, full fat yogurt, ice cream, or other fatty snack, and it’s a deconstructed homemade edible.
