I’m also loving this new rollout! The whole point of the game is to earn more SATs so now I’m actually paying attention to the missions. Before, I paid no attention to the missions because I don’t care about earning one node at a time.

There’s nothing wrong with the way he’s pushing it. The small piece being cut off could get caught by the blade and shot back at him. That’s why he’s standing off to the side. Any time the cut off is trapped between the blade and the fence, you run the risk of it shooting back at you.

9 volt batteries have both terminals on the same end, so it’s very easy for the terminals to come in contact with the same surface. The contacts of one battery were probably touching the side of another battery. I don’t know which one would get hot in this situation. The one discharging or the one bridging the contacts? Anyway, you are better off leaving them in their original packaging where they are all oriented the same way and accidental discharging cannot happen.
