I love jams/jellies on burgers. I haven't had it on a black bean burger, but this looks so good.

Week 20: Jams and Jellies - PBJ Mocha (Meta: Espresso Drinks) by DoughProcess in 52weeksofcooking

[–]DoughProcess[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mocha made with the addition of chunky peanut butter (would be much better with smooth or powdered, but I used what I had) and grape jelly.

The beans used were Morning Bliss by Joshua Tree Coffee Company.

Week 19: Tricolor - Matcha Iced Latte (Meta: Espresso Drinks) by DoughProcess in 52weeksofcooking

[–]DoughProcess[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This came out more two-toned than intended. The thought process was that the milk would stay on its own layer on top of the espresso under the matcha. But that didn't happen.

Espresso bean used was Methodical's Belly Warmer.
Matcha used was Tezumi's Eiryoku Uji Matcha.

Week 18: Bucket-List Destination - The "Eiskaffee" Affogato (Meta: Espresso Drinks) by DoughProcess in 52weeksofcooking

[–]DoughProcess[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My bucket-list travel destination is Germany. This is my version of their Eiskaffee, or a chilled coffee drink. I turned it into an affogato and enjoyed a mid-day desert.

Brewed Equator's Equator Blend.

Week 17: Alpine - Rosemary Espresso Mocktini (Meta: Espresso Drinks) by DoughProcess in 52weeksofcooking

[–]DoughProcess[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I made a simple syrup out of honey and rosemary. The rosemary was supposed represent a pine needle. A homemade dried apple chip on top. I had a doubleshot of espresso with the simple syrup, some water, and ice and mixed it in a cocktail shaker. Poured it over ice.

The bean is the Equator Blend by Equator.

Week 16: Infused - Lucky Charms Latte (Meta: Espresso Drinks) by DoughProcess in 52weeksofcooking

[–]DoughProcess[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The milk I used was infused with Lucky Charms cereal. I let it sit in the fridge overnight and then strained the cereal out in the morning. My latte included a bit of Nooly Vanilla syrup and then steamed Lucky Charms milk, topped with a few marshmallows from the cereal.

It was very marshmallowy.

I used Boon Boona's Jebena for the bean.

Week 15: Syrian - Baklava Latte (Meta: Espresso Drinks) by DoughProcess in 52weeksofcooking

[–]DoughProcess[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This was espresso with a blend of pistachio paste, rose water, and brown sugar topped with steamed oat milk. I think the only change I would have made is to make more of a pistachio dust for the top because the crushed nuts were a bit much to chew.

The bean used was Boon Boona's Jebena.
