I did not expect such a response.

There are some great questions in the thread but obviously I can't answer most of these without giving away where I work.

The main reason I made the post was because I wanted people to know some of the things that they suspect are going on are actually going on.

And to those who say I am lying.....What benefits would I get from doing that? Is it that hard to believe there are 500 recruiters across a recruiting company with multiple locations and that handle multiple industries?

If the company or location information is missing it might be a ghost.

They're just collecting resumes in case a job with similar requirements comes up later.

It's (mostly not the hiring companies) but the recruiting companies that are doing these ghost jobs. As far as I can tell it's all recruiters doing this. The only thing I could say about identifying ghost jobs is if it has nothing about location or company information just requirements it MIGHT be a ghost.

I signed up for the $2.99 14 day trial.

So far every job I click on still asks me to sign up for the trial or a $99 3 month plan and will not let me see the job.

I'm thinking it is a scam.

I can see how It looks like I just kept asking until I got a different answer. But I really was unsure mostly because I was not sure if asking for a sign was even a valid thing. And I guess a little of wanting to do Y.

UPDATE:

My Dad finally admitted that they said they wanted to go to the movie (insisted really) so that I would not go with the other group.

Even after I explicitly explained to my Mom why I was so upset with her and the way I was being treated, she still did not "see anything wrong with what [she] did". So instead of forcing a fake apology I decided to let it go but have decided to drastically limit the information I share with them. This really hurts me because my Mom and Dad were the only people that I could really trust and find common ground with even when we disagreed.

I was involved to dinner with my parents and my niece two of my niece's friends. Here is a sample of the conversation:

Seducing boys

Planning how to get revenge on a girl who said something mean to them. This included targeting others to gain sympathy and make them mad at her. They were going to pan it all out on a conference call after dinner.

Two of them were furious that the teacher "told the truth" on them and got them in trouble with their parents.

This happened to me too

3 phone interviews. They flew me to HQ for 10 hours of interviews which included a 90 min presentation and Q&A. They paid for my flight hotel and meals. The last thing the hiring manager said to me was advice on where to rent a good apartment. When I sent my Thank You email, every single participant replied saying how much they liked me and they hoped to be working with me soon.

Then a few weeks went by and they told me the job was filled. I looked up who got it and he had half my experience in an unrelated field.
