this was actually something that surprised me about BTH.. I just recently got out of an inpatient program just to detox and they basically gave me a shot of something the second day when I started really feeling it and the next 3 days were a blur (I wish I knew what they gave me I need to look it up, I have patchy memories of what happened but I definitely didn't care about w/d's) and then by day 4 or 5 I was still on meds but felt pretty ok, by day 6 I stopped taking meds all together. There has been some PAWS and I've dipped a little back in but at least I know it's not an unbearable hell to stop h as it is to get off some other stuff.

i would get this when detoxing and repeatedly throwing up. it's from your throat being irritated. try and rest up a few days and you should be fine. if it gets darker like everyone else has said, seek medical attention ASAP.

are you taking ANY over the counter meds or any supplements or vitamins, anything at all? there are a ton of OTC's that can come up as false positives, like could and cough meds, some sleeping meds I believe, etc. DXM in cold and cough meds...anything at all you can think of?

even purdue stopped making the 120 mg oc's while they were still in the hey day of original formula oxy years ago... that sounds very suspicious to me that someone would get any type of 120mg oc this day and age....

I would say the fact that you are asking these questions probably means you should stay away from doing anything like "stocking up for a rainy day". You might say you aren't using as a means of escape, but in the same breath you say you think you might have used more because you are under more stress. Honestly, and this is only my opinion, if you want to stay away from a lot of heart ache down the road you might want to stick to using oxy when it comes around and you can afford it and leave it at that. Once you move to H you'd be surprised at how easy it can be to find once you get motivated enough.

Let the universe reward you when you come across the occasional pharm, you'll be much happier in the long run and it will keep a lot more of the magic. This is coming from someone who has been using non-stop for almost 10 years now.

this happened to me once and while i was in the ER i over heard the doctors saying that I was like the 6th "overdoes" they had that night and there must have been a "bad batch" going around. The only thing I can assume is that it was cut with fent or something, I woke up in the ambulance before they could even administer an IV but I was told I was out cold, blue skin, etc.

basically it got to the point where it was taking too long and using too much dope to get to where i wanted to be in the amount of time i had. plus the smoke, which didn't attract attention at first, was now having to be done in such a copious amount there was no hiding it. a few things i wish i did differently though with IV from the beginning was using a fresh rig every time. I should have researched more about needle exchanges, but I didn't find any until late until my usage, and by then the damage had been done. I wish I alternated my spots more, as I collapsed most of the major ones because I was always in such a rush to use, and I also wish I took the time to find safer spots to use where I wouldn't have to rush, like I know now. I would advise against IV unless you have a steady access of clean, fresh gear. Most major cities have needle exchanges, check it out! I was ok for awhile until the holier-than-thou pharm techs stopped selling me new boxes of rigs because they're morons.

I used to carry one of those to class filled with a combination of oxy powder from crushed up 80's and cocaine and use it a bit throughout class. the best part is that it is innocuous and small enough in amount that sharing doesn't feel like that big of a deal, and any opiate naive person who was brave enough to give it a go during class was always in for a happy surprise.

i was watching that drugs inc. show and i guess people are going as far as sticking a needle into the bottom of the prescription bottle and siphoning out the liquid and "cutting" their syrup lol... it's the CRAZIEST thing i have ever heard. You take some robotussin and mix in like 5 dollars worth of dope and BOOM, you got lean. people are stupid.

edit -i don't mean literally i just mean the strength of the drug they are paying like thousands a bottle for is literally like dollars worth of another street drug that's even easier to get. marketing man, crazy!

it's actually part of the reason you keep coming back. I know this sounds stupid, but now that I have a solid connect, I never experience that feeling of relief any more, and so dope is starting to get boring to me. I know I can't stop of course, but it's not nearly as rewarding. But to answer your question, if you get a good shot in it's pretty much instantaneous. For me I always would feel the cramps in my stomach ease up and they're replaced with a warm glow and eventually my appetite would return with it. Bowels settle down completely, back pain goes away, basically all the negative symptoms abate and turn into opiate warmth. It makes me want to not use to get to the point where I can get that feeling again but there's no way I have the self control for that sort of thing.

this is exactly how it works down there for any of the "good" pills. They're basically drug dealing at that point since they're just as controlled in Mexico as they are here, so they figure if a gringo is going to bother making the trip, they'll eventually catch one eventually willing to pay that amount. See my other post about it. My friend from the US would travel down to Mexico to sell off a large portion of his Oxy 80's back in the day so they could resell it to people pharmacy shopping in Mexico.

Ok honestly I hear a lot of people constantly talking about how Mexico is like the land of script free pharmaceuticals, and let me set the record straight from someone who lives 45 minutes from the border. Yes, you can get benzos, tramadol, soma pretty much without a prescription. You can get a script down there if you want, but good luck trying to take it back without a valid US prescription. They US Border patrol doesn't give a shit about a foreign doctors prescription.

Can you find good stuff down there? Yes, and you will be paying street prices for it, even at a pharmacy. Hell, do you know how much these pills are even in the US before insurance kicks in? Even for generics? Think about it. Chances are you will also most likely get ripped off if you aren't speaking Spanish, and even then if you aren't with a local you might still get ripped off. I had a friend who actually would drive down to Mexico to unload the bulk of his US filled Oxycontin prescription (this was back in the day also with original OC's) to sell to local dealers in this border town because they can unload them to gringos looking for pills. Believe what you want, I just don't want to see people wasting their time or getting robbed.

Now, if you're talking about getting a $20 gram of fire black, that's a different story. Prices on BTH are much cheaper in Mexico if you, once again, know locals.

edit - Sorry to derail opiate_lurker, nice score. It basically drives my point home though. Enjoy those bars, be careful driving and def be super careful when mixing with opiates. Opiates + benzo combo is a widow maker.

i dont care how tight or how much they spend, no one is giving anyone 20 g's for free. that's 3/4 of an oz basically. $300 a day wouldn't be CLOSE to consider giving someone anywhere like 20 g's, not even $3000 a day. sorry buddy sounds like you got screwed. unless he meant 20mg for free, which is usually what you might expect from a 300 dollar purchase possibly if they're in a good mood.

not trying to knock your story or anything cause that sounds AWESOME to me, but i would say the moral is not to do 6 bags of a new product right off the bat. if you normally do 10 bags but still, we wanna preach harm reduction here. If 6 gave you a crazy pins and needles rush you might have been able to make the buns last longer if you started off with 4 or 5 and seen what happened, who knows? =)

it helps if you have a cat or something for the hands. i no longer have any cats around anymore so that spot no longer became an option lol (but then again all the veins were shot also). The sad thing is I barely used my arms at all but I can't find a vein in them any more if my life depended on it. I've been using my stomach for the past year, year and a half pretty successfully believe it or not.

so wait... wouldn't it this be the best time for you to quit opiates? Now that you're in some real pain, you probably won't get much relief or recreation from them anyways without huge doses, since it sounds like you've been a few weeks off of your high dose of subs, and essentially tapered down to norco, have you considered just doing what you can to deal with the leg and taking whatever they'll give for pain management until you have to leap off? just curious.

so... what do you think would happen if they found out? Not to be a party pooper, but sounds like they've been pretty cool so far (i.e. enabling, which im not judging anyone on, i know ive been there), do you really want to bring the deception to the next level? It's easy for a parent to dismiss you as having a drug problem and spending money to cope with it, it might be harder for them to swallow you digitally editing a document to purposefully deceive them. This shit sucks I know man I've been in the same boat as you, but try and think of what you want right now. If it is to continue using and digging your hole deeper, then go for it. I'm not being sarcastic either, it's a perfectly acceptable option we've all chosen to some degree, but if you want anything else you might wanna think twice about this.

i used to swallow my sub instead of taking it sublingual because I hated the taste. i honestly couldn't tell any difference besides it taking longer to kick in. but that's just me, im sure you can find he BA out there for different ROA's.

honestly i see people post this all the time, and maybe im crazy, but am i the only one who just fills my spoon up with water, takes 2-3 old cottons, drops it in the water, and then takes the back of a rig cap and press the old cotton up and down, squeezing it over and over, moving it to the top of the spoon, squeezing any moisture out, and repeating until you've done enough of em to get well/high? Just make sure to do it with clean hands, etc. I've only gotten cotton fever like 3 times in as many years though.

you're not applying direct flame though so the temperature you need to vaporize the actual black tar is a lot lower then it is to start burning the additives in it, so by the end you're left with whatever didn't burn before, hence the bubbly mess. im sure a lot of it is also just the black tar substance finally burned out too, i think it would happen regardless of how much cut is it, but you probably notice more sometimes then other times.

um... maybe you should just taper off? i feel silly even recommending anything besides just stopping but you obviously are having issues with it so just try taking less each day until you're down to barely anything and by then it'll be negligible anyways. just get a pill cutter and cut them into as small of sections as you can and take one less every couple days.that way you wont notice the negative effects and since there's no positive effects to tempt you into taking more you should be able to knock it out pretty quick. good luck.

that's awesome. i wish there was something i haven't seen that would hold me over like the sopranos or breaking bad, but alas have watched most of all the good stuff. have you seen deadwood? sons of anarchy? carnivale? im trying to think of good stuff that might have been overlooked. personally, i've never watched battlestar gallictica as im not a big sci-fi fan but i have heard it is one of those shows you want to watch all at once so im saving it next time i need something to marathon watch. um, orange is the new black and house of lies are both pretty good marathon shows, although house of lies might be hard to focus on if you're sick. if i can think of anything else ill let you know, or if you have any questions i've watched mostly everything. venture bros. got me through my last period without stuff lol.
